He may be connected to the rothschilds but his connection to Peter Munk may be more significant.

Either way his MO was to use the newspapers of a country to drive speculation and devalue that nation's currency. Then he comes in to loan the decision makers of that country money, so much money that it would never be paid off. instead of having to pay it off George would get to choose who sets policy for things like public education and social welfare and all that.
