Woes was the first time I could actually understand the right wing perspective. I presumed he was centre-left until he moved on to an opinion that clearly wasn't, but he'd already established himself as clearly a reasonable person so I could actually consider his opinions. Previously all the right wing personalities I had seen had been so combative that they appear as the 'ignorant and hateful' stereotype and I felt no need to listen to what they were saying.
