When Panzerfaust or Strohiem takes damage to their mechanical parts Panzerfaust releases a cloud of microbots that collect local metals to repair broken parts (including fillings, screws, plates from inside a target). Instead of crashing or fading away Panzerfaust will go into a standby mode until sufficiently repaired.
Panzerfaust carries a large arsenal of German weaponry including grenades, rockets, and even an artillery cannon. Ammo is replenished via microbots.
The only way to stop Panzerfaust is to knockout or kill Strohiem.

I never thought about it this way, but that's a good point. Human Gods would have starved the chaos gods, or at least become warp entities in their own right on a level sufficient to rival the dark gods.
It's even better than that. If you take a monotheistic God (arguably Abrahamic, but some people will argue something else entirely) and cram every single virtues and powers in existence on Him, while making Him only the basis upon which knowledge could be verified, then the Warp would make Him existent.
Essentially if Humanity would have done that before the Horus Heresy, when the Chaos Gods didn't have their mind in the game straigth and didn't get hyper-venerated, then you would have had A) the Emperor in the physical Realm and B) God in the Warp, both fucking over Chaos, instead of only one that can't do shit physically.
