Im an American, live on the eastern side of America. Since immigration to here in the 1700's my ancestors have long toiled the soil I live on, but before that they came from a feudal time in Europe. What should I know about my European ancestors? How do I vote in politics?

Regardless, remember that skin color is a cline and so are all most genes.

Specifically it is lowland scots who moved to the ulster region of Ireland but your ancestors could be any combination of lowland scots that moved to Ireland, lowland scots that moved straight to America, and northern English. Thesd groups settled the same areas together in the states. You are probably a mix of them with some Southwest English which would be the original plantation owners in the old south

Appalachia mountains are the prime Ulster Scots region. If you ever go back to Europe you should move to northern Ireland, Scotland or north England

This whole search for my ancestry came from being felt like I was lied to my whole life. Turns out I was. My father always claimed we were part cherokee indian. I always felt like it was wrong especially because of our last name. So I did the test and it turns out there is no Native American blood in me at all.
