There's a local "schuttersgilde" (roughly translates to shooter's guild, refering to local militias protecting the cities since medieval times).
We're not that secret, but somehow the governement doesn't look into any of our paperwork as long as we pay our taxes for stuff like alcohol. Every now and then there are ceremonies, only for the members. But with practicly everyone from the village being a member it's not that much.
