I've been in the industry for over 15 years. Now I'm stuck in it and I fucking hate it. I can't even stand to hang around high people any more. I haven't smoked in over 5 years. I don't care if someone smokes every now and again. But smoking a shit ton is stupid. Also you should not smoke it until your brain is fully formed. So it should be entirely illegal for people under a certain age for sure.

In moderation it's the least harmful drug but it's still a vice, and unless you have Chron's disease or PTSD then it doesn't have any medicinal benefits. It should still be legal though, because unlike alcohol or hard drugs it doesn't make people more likely to commit crime.

I've been smoking weed for a year and a half and I absolutely love it.
I've got social anxiety, because I didn't have any friends as a child, got bullied and got neglected by my parents. I used to be an alcoholic and drank 7 beers on a normal weekday. I couldn't combine it with work anymore, so I decided to switch to weed.
The side effects of weed are pretty simple imho, they make you disinterested in everything. Which in my case was good, because I was to anxious about everything. I began meditating on weed, found friends who are in a similar position as I am who smoke weed and I managed to get a good enough grip on myself to visit a psychiatrist. I'm currently off of weed, as per request by my psych, but after therapy ends I fully intend to start smoking weed again, but only in the weekends.

If you want some security, try setting limits before you start smoking. Are you okay with getting high every day? If so, are you (and your boss) okay with getting high at work? Try to find a limit that you don't want to cross before you get addicted and then keep yourself to it.
