I would absolutely not apologize for what you did. If she is upset about deporting illegal immigrants then it's probably because she is one or knows one. Do not let them convince you're wrong. It is not okay to illegally immigrate. Stick to your instincts and you will be fine. The moment you start to recant and walk back what you say is when you will be swarmed and attacked the worst.
