HAPPENING: WHY IS NOBODY TALKING ABOUT LATVIA

Latvia just had their parliamentary elections over the weekend, and TWO populist-right parties mad massive gains in the parliament their.

The plurality winning party, Harmony, has a very Pro-Russia platform. How will this affect the future alliances formed after the inevitable breakup of the EU? Could Russia form a Eurasian Union?

Look I sometimes get Latvia mixed up with Estonia because they're that significant.

Fuck off, those two cuckservative populist parties gaining means nothing for us.

The only Jow Forums-approved party in Latvia is National Alliance and they only got 11%.

Ya neck yourself
Baltshits are irrelevant either way, they could elect a donkey and it wouldn't affect mainland Europeans , lest the world one bit

This is poor try of damage control, they were barking like a little dogs and doing all kind of russophobic shit. Russia had enough and ceased trade and use of their ports - a thing that was large part of their economy, so now after all this they suddenly become "friendly". I hope we will economically strangle the shit of them as much as we can and meanwhile support Russians there so they would at least hit somewhat less by all this.

Russia is pretty fucked because of their post-soviet faggotry. Better form a Central-European union from Finland to Bulgaria who tries to balance between the Russians and the Atlantic powers. But desu, I wouldn't team up with neither west neither east, because all the two just want to colonise us.

Lol how many Russians are now living in Latvia?

Ok maybe they are cuckservatives, but could we get a quick rundown on this Russia stuff?
What sort of pro-Russia policies will Harmony try to implement?

Looks like Poland needs to act if they want to secure their interests in the region.

Kek, that russian party always wins elections, since there is only one russian party, but they always are in the opposition. Agrarian commies and libtards got btfod hard in these elections though.

New Hapsburg Empire when?

>has a very Pro-Russia platform
They are not Pro - Russia. They just don't shit on us for no reason.

It would be fun for road trips, live in a comfy cottage in Estonia, then drive down to Greece on holiday

We are in the populist moment, I think. The elites should not have taken the electorate for granted. It was one thing when the feudal lords did it, they had the means and institutions to crush the people under their boots. In a republic, the elites are always one election away from having their power taken from them without bloodlessly.

Latin America in particular is really beginning to change, hope we see the reincarnation of Pinochet take hold in Venezuela though I really doubt it.

Such a union would be an ideal ally for America. The US has little direct interest in the region except for selling our crap to you, but it would be good to have an ally to act as a peaceful buffer between Russia and the insanity of the EU.

Fuck Russia

Why did y'all keep that little bit of land between Poland and Lithuania? Why not keep the land between it and the rest of Russia so it isn't disconnected?

Would Italy join as well with Salvini?

It was to humiliate the Germans and to get a second Baltic sea port. That's Kaliningrad, formely Konigsburg "The King's Town."

If they used to be german, what are the people there like now?
