So what do you know about your ancestors?
My maternal side were New English from the Mayflower onward, as well as a few Virginians from before the Mayflower. One of my ancestors signed the Declaration of Independence, and I probably had ancestors on both sides of the War of Independence.
On my father's side we're Ulster-Scots who only just arrived before Independence, as well as some New English whom they mixed with. We've been in Ohio River Country for over 200 years.
Also some more recent Scandinavian on my mother's side, but they don't matter.
Feels good to be Anglo.

According to the Mormon ancestry site, I've got some random Dutch/French royalty a fair ways back. Also a bit of native on my Mom's side.

Dad's father was from Austria. Carinthia to be specific.
Mother is American of primarily Swiss descent.
Mother's father was American of entirely German stock.
Mother is American of British Isles descent but if you go back far enough there's all sorts of shit in there. Actually a descendant of Charlemagne.
