All male drivers reacted enthusiastically, most female drivers are outraged. Can’t we men ever do anything right???
Former F1 driver Pedro de La Rosa said: “I welcome and applaud the inauguration of W Series, which looks set to be a game-changer for female racing drivers globally. “
British racing driver Pippa Mann, currently racing in indyCar, said: “What a sad day for motorsport. Those with funding to help female racers are choosing to segregate them as opposed to supporting them. I am deeply disappointed to see such a historic step backwards take place in my life time.”
Current Haas driver Kevin Magnussen spoke of his support: “When I was karting as a boy, I raced a few girls who were talented and quick. But there weren’t many of them – a lot more boys than girls go karting and that’s a fact – so I welcome W Series and hope it’ll help female racers progress their careers. I’ll be watching closely!”
European F3 driver Sophia Floersch represents the other side of the debate saying on Twitter, “I agree with the arguments – but it totally disagree with the solution. Women need long term support and trustful partners. I want to compete with the best of our sport. Please compare it with economics: Do we need separate Women Management / Advisory Boards? No. Wrong way.”
Nope, they're just not capable of understanding why this helps them get more women in to F1 in the long run because they're stupid women.
Wyatt Clark
Are we playing bumpercars guys, I mean honestly its like we're playing pingpong, GIVE ME BLUE FLAG
Brayden Butler
Better have all female pit crews and mechanics.
Lucas Campbell
Oh good God. Imagine the upkeep cost of all these medics and firefighters for the female drivers alone. Shit, I might go to see this massacre but I won't risk my life.
Cooper Campbell
>I want to compete with the best of our sport. Do they seriously believe they are anywhere near the best of the best themselves? How deluded can you be? Men would give you a competition, so you could win something, but instead complain, because you can't win the men's competition. The difference between the top man and the top woman in any sports at all is insane. That's just the way we've evolved to be. Women give birth, so their reproductive success is practically guaranteed. Men have to compete, so they evolved to be really good at it.
Ian Butler
This will be fucking hilarious. I wonder how many DNFs we'll see the first season.
Zachary Bennett
Why would you even need an all-woman race? Racing cars isn't physical so women aren't disadvantaged like in normal sports.
Expect max speed limits & multiple 1st prizes. Also accidents, lots and lots of accidents.
Henry Rivera
F3 cars go 275km/h. Not that high, but fast enough.
Carson Anderson
the sweetest irony is that female drivers are openly mad about the fact they will not race with the best drivers in the world
lol.
Kevin Taylor
I'm not claiming that women are awful at spots. But compared to the best of the best, they really are quite bad. The driver in my school's Formula Student team was actually a girl, and she was a good driver. She was also very light, which helped quite a bit. So women can indeed drive and compete, but they should do it among themselves. It's not fun to watch them get absolutely wrecked by the real best of the best.
Wyatt Kelly
>"Do we need separate Women Management / Advisory Boards? No. Wrong way.” Why? If it helps them to bitch less I'm all for it. I find it easier to work with men.
Alexander Morgan
Honestly, what's the point of a female racer league? It's one of the few sports where it makes sense to let them compete together. If women are objectively worse then there'll be less of them hired. It's affirmative action horseshit to give them their own league
Blake Roberts
Funny considering that many women were also against the banning of pit girls. But hey, what do I know, I'm just a sexist pig by default.
Matthew Garcia
Kek good call
This is exactly what "Jennason" Button needs to be world champ again
Gabriel Lopez
They will get capped at much lower than that. You'll see.
Elijah Long
>Honestly, what's the point of a female racer league? Without it, you will never see a woman in the top.
Gabriel Wright
I agree that this is a bad idea. Less women compete at a higher level in motorsports, because women just aren't as good. It's unfortunate for them, but it's fair. Women are fully-allowed to participate in F1.
This goes against that fairness.
Alexander Price
>This goes against that fairness. Women could be allowed to race in both series.
Jaxson Gutierrez
Racing is too man-centric
David Miller
>be low tier F1 driver >put on a dress >qualify first in every W series race >win the series >retire and never be surpassed as the greatest of all time
So brave.
Jayden Young
Is that why they're doing it? It must be humiliating to only to be able to win that and not even getting a chance to compete with men. Feminism is sickening.
Matthew Davis
>first ever women's racing series >historic step backwards >women make history >herstory >women make history in an unapproved manner >do not make history the mind melts....
Jordan Wright
i thi k his point is that if you arent good enough to be at the top we shouldnt create artificial mechanism to put you their.
what he diesnt realize is that no one gives a shit about female sports, even better it seperates the feminist fans from the actual game
Why should it be humiliating? Men and women are not the same. Why would you expect both to be capable of the same things. Is it humiliating that a man can't give birth?
Ian Clark
Drivers gotta be really fucking fit to withstand the g-force. Plus there's dehydration and all that shit. It's physical.
Jeremiah Smith
There's a few design limitations that reduce the maximum speed. Using gas vs electric and aerodynamic designs
Andrew Wright
>women >driving
Ethan Cooper
MTF?
Brayden Evans
I see a "white countries for everyone" analogy here
Levi Murphy
Dead on arrival. I love it.
Brandon Hughes
the most delicious part of this is that the men's series is still called F1. feminists and progressive eggheads failed to change it to M1 for men and F1 for women. major oversight there
Parker Flores
>Women could be allowed to race in both series.
This is even less fair, and actually what is really happening. I do not have the option of a male only league.
Jack Ortiz
They'll just find something else to bitch about.
Adrian Stewart
even F1 women and F2 for men, just to really stick it to men. sigh leftists can't even left
Gabriel Jenkins
To be fair, women are now legally required to be in board positions.
Zachary Diaz
Oh, wow. This sport I never watch is doing something that upsets some people.
Why do we need mandatory quotas of women on company boards? Why mandatory quotas of women in politics? Why mandatory quotas in the police, military, universities? Why are tennis players at Grand Slams paid the same prize money despite females not competing against men... or even playing the same number of sets against their female opponents?
The answer is simple: women want their own leagues and own series, but then they also want equal pay, mandatory quotas everywhere etc. .. women couldn’t stand to be compete with men on a level playing field in all areas of society.
M1 implies that men can be first at something. They'd make it M0
Carter Rodriguez
I don't see why it would be unfair. You'd wreck everyone in female-only league, and you'd have just as hard of a time winning a male only league and a free-for-all league.
Adam White
low speed accidents
Jace Jenkins
Sure, but women should be able to get the chance to compete in the actual F1 too if they wanted to. They'd just overwhelmingly couldn't compete. If there isn't a clear physical biological advantage of males, there's no point in sexual segregation. The occasional outlier women deserve a chance too. Forcing them into the retard's league is what's actually keeping those few outliers down.
Isaac Fisher
...
Levi Evans
>I don't see why it would be unfair.
It is unfair to have a special thing for one group but not or the other group. I'm not saying it is desirable or not, but it is treating two groups differently which is definitionally unfair.
Just you wait until they start enforcing mandatory women in public. If there are not enough women on a street then it is effectively illegal for men to be there etc.
Nicholas Kelly
>Forcing them into the retard's league is what's actually keeping those few outliers down.
This is why I oppose the Special Olympics.
Daniel Anderson
not only is it physical, but if your mind wanders for a split second you can and will be ass-backwards into an embankment.
Aiden Collins
F1 is already so neutered what with the run off zones, the halo, the driver aids etc so it should be suitable for women as is.
John Jackson
Imagine how ling the pit stops would taje with all women mechanics. It would take forever for them to figure out which way to turn the lug nuts to get them on and off.
Kayden Nelson
Reaction time, depth perception, and the ability to withstand several hour of nothing but significant G-Forces in a cramped, hot ass vehicle are all quite physical.
The differences between men and women don't just stop at muscle mass.
Thomas James
Is she in way way representative of the average woman, or even a notable minority of them? No.
Cooper Foster
My point is that you'd get no advantage from being given your own league. The relative difficulty for a woman winning a trophy would be about the same as that of a man winning a trophy, assuming both reach equal popularity. They of course won't, but that will be reflected in the prize pool. Maybe there is some slight unfairness, but you can't make everything fair in an unfair reality.
James Martin
Male drivers are enthusiastic that they don't have to worry about getting kamikazed by some hormonal roastie.
Luke Flores
Oh well. At least if women get the chance to get their asses handed to them against males, so it's fine. Let them do whatever they want in their girl's club then! It'll literally not matter.
Bentley Gray
Has anyone in special olympics ever actually reached a similar level of expertise as those in regular olympics?
Jason Sanders
Don’t be a sexist pig. There are female mechanics in F1... oh wait.
>you can't make everything fair in an unfair reality.
No, but you can refrain from increasing it by giving a special league to a particular group that others can't participate in without benis removal surgery.
Gabriel Martin
f1 pilots undergo special neck muscle training that lasts alteast a year before they even go the track. for the first time. Same goes for rally drivers - they have to possess very strong bones to withstand the jumps and so on.
Robert Edwards
Same reason as why we have female only chess tournaments.
Matthew Wilson
Weightlifting.
Austin Cruz
That's bullshit too. Let them eat dirt!
Jason Ross
Veggie Schumacher would still be able to win the w series championship
Sebastian Williams
But that is unfair. In life itself, women compete against other women. Not against men. Why would you force everyone to compete against each other? Would it not make more sense with the realities of this world, if women found out how they measure against other women and men how they measure against other men? I certainly don't like this modern fetish for everyone competing agaisnt everyone. I'd like to complement a woman, not compete against her.
Dominic Williams
This is why women are running your country.
Samuel Davis
Because I'd rather segregate competition? Because I'd like men to do what they do well and women to do what they do well? Makes sense.
Charles Hughes
>Why would you force everyone to compete against each other? Because equality. What you are calling for is female supremacy.
Isaiah Reyes
I don't want equality. We are not equal, so pursuing it is retarded. And how the fuck is it female supremacy? That is a complete nonseguitor.
Austin White
So can we finally integrate the olympics and make the males and females compete against each other there?
So women should be allowed to have the training wheels on all the time, they should be allowed to cheat, to have the system be slanted in their favour? Great.
Benjamin Perez
What the fuck are you talking about? Go away, if you can only speak in strawmen, you insufferable retard. A female-only league is not cheating, nor is it slanting the system in their favor.
Henry Baker
>A female-only league is not cheating Nor is having a male only league either then. Oh wait, that's illegal.
Logan Robinson
Walking from Bagina to Benis would take 120 days if not more. Horseriding makes more sense.
Carter Wilson
I already addressed that argument. A male only league would not give you any benefit.
Imagine him going around the track in his hospital bed all while the women in their high tech cars wave their arms around and wreck themselves. It'd be like that webm of that cripple climing the wall with ease while the able boddied women still complain as well as try and fail
Christopher Foster
So they want support but not that way. Fucking executives need to sack up and say all their divisions from every age are open to any gender. Then let the chips fall where they may.
Andrew Walker
It's almost like women and men are built differently and shouldn't be made to compete against each other.
Ryder Scott
It doesn't benefit me, true. It outright excludes me. What if I decided to partake in the W-series?! Answer that you goddamn skirt worshipper.
Jack Ward
>What if I decided to partake in the W-series? Then I'll call you a feminine faggot unfit to be called a man, how's that?
