It’s not that black and white. Some are, some aren’t. The only area in the region where I’d say they fairly consistently are is Georgia.
If a forensic anthropologist found their remains (skull) they would say it's a white person. So technically, yes, they are a white ethnicity.

Caucasian includes middle easteners, Iranians & indians. It's a race. The variations within the race are ethnicities.

Some of them but I think they're too few and far between. This area, like practically the entire mid east, iran, india, etc. were inhabited by different races. In the case of caucasus, it was influenced by turkics, mongolians, armenians, anatolians, iranians (most of whom were semitic elamites), probably levantines to a lesser degree and of course russians.
