If you're willing to shell out the bucks, you probably can make an entirely-automatic home defense system. I know there are quadrotors with suicide bombs or (very) small arms that people have made, there are motion-detecting turrets that you can find instructions for on the internet, I'm willing to bet that you can combine that with a metal RC tread system with a basic pathfinding AI to make a small ground robot. You can probably hook up servos and sensors to some niggerrigged mortars for automatic artillery support if you're really dedicated.

What's better (sort of) is that the weapon they used is an airsoft P90, which is a real gun, too, so adapting it to shoot people with real bullets (*acknowledging that the P90 uses a shitty meme cartridge) is easy.
