Liberals on (((faceberg))) going nuts posting this everywhere. What the run down on Ford Jow Forums? Trump campaigned hard against American Auto makers sending jobs to Mexico and Canada, probably was a big part in him flipping Michigan and the rust belt.

business needing to do business better. tough luck
Ford built shit in China instead of Mexico.
Ford made the wrong choice.
>leftists blame trump instead of the real reason of "nobody is buying cars because they cost too fucking much"
film at 11.
fuck china, fuck mexico, and fuck anyone manufacturing there. also fuck canada.
First he to declares the capital of Israel then he shits on my favorite company.
should have built your cars in America, bitch
this
>go to university
>professors say that when goods are outsourced they become cheaper
>graduate into real world
>when goods are outsourced, profits increase for whoever owns shares
Ford "we support kneeling for the flag" and are against Trump is your favorite company?
Cuck.
>my favorite company
>when goods are outsourced, profits increase for whoever owns shares
That's legally what corporations are for: making shareholders money.

Fucking Detroit of all places is trying to make a comeback and liberals just focus on a kike company. Fuck this timeline
OH WONT SOMEONE PLEASE THINK OF THE MULTINATIONAL CORPORATIONS!!!
a lot of young people don't even bother getting their license anymore, and not necessarily because they're poor. a lot of them are well off but they just don't give a fuck about driving.
It's even better than that. Ford is cutting foreign jobs and bringing them back here.
Ford fucked up, like the NFL. Liberalism kills everything. Free market! Whatup tho
>temporary tariff wars are painful, so we should just slowly give all of our trade dependence to foreigners forever
>Campbell's
>Kellog's
Guess I'm never having cereal or quick soup again.
you went to a bad university - and your study habits were obviously shit lol
>hurr durr the professor told me so
university is for adults, act like one
Ford is (((((((compromised))))))), TESLA is so redpilled is wrecking G*rmans and their (((((BMW))))) and (((((Mercedes Benz)))))) shitboxes.
>Tarrif wars do anything to protect trade
>Protectionism is possible when the entire economic system inevitably drifts towards globalization
Did your favorite sexdog die, Chang? Is that why you're so angry about your illiteracy?
Only city fags don't care about driving, not having a driver's licence is just another symptom of onions boi man children. They have there wives drive them around so they can play switch.
ugh, why do they give money to leftist kikes
Onions boi*
>entire economic system inevitably drifts towards globalization
wtf do you mean inevitably, you ridiculous person you
They're paying for shifting manufacturing to China. If Ford were mostly manufacturing Anywhere else, like HERE (or even fucking Mexico), they'd be unaffected.
>Being Fordiot
Top KEK. One of the most anti-American corporations still standing in 2012+6. Let them stay in China. LET THEM ROT.
Cheap foreign labor + Expensive American labor = inevitable drift towards globalization
Ford: Hey, we don't need cars anymore, we're just going to make trucks for now
Ford: Also we're going to move all of our manufacturing overseas to China
Trump: We're tariffing China now
Ford: Fuck
Ford should've gone bankrupt in 2008.
Considering Tariffs just leveled the playing field and even gives an advantaged to domestic suppliers, yeah they are working. Hell that new USCMA deal just basically made Mexico pay for the wall with the $16/hour clause with all those nice factories will get in the US.
>ford gets punished for building in china
the
system
is
working
The United States and much of the rest of the West have effectively been employing hundreds of millions of low paid chinese slave workers for decades, all without the labour laws or environmental consequences resulting in very cheap goods in western shops, low inflation maintenance of purchasing power for the western masses mostly for the purpose of buying the latest junk imports from Chinese factories designed by western corporations, and by doing so have completely transformed the Chinese economy from inconsequential GDP of $300bln 30 years ago to $12 trillion today, and thus exponentially strengthening a totalitarian state ruled by a communist dictatorship that increasingly seeks to spread its tentacles beyond its borders.
Remember that the Soviet Union was defeated not militarily but through economic warfare. The current economic trend trajectory has the Chinese dictatorship clearly winning the economic war as the Chinese economy converges towards becoming the world’s largest economy within the next 10 years unless action is taken to halt this trend.
Don't eat cereal. If you're going to have grains for breakfast, at least have oats with nuts/seeds/fruit.
Cereal might as well be poison
Layoffs in ford factories in the US? or in china? I have no idea how this works
t.kike
Automation + Chinese Tariffs = American Industry Boom
Tell that to the Carrier factory Trump was supposed to save. Couple thousand less jobs for the rust belt, and enough 3$/hr jobs to keep their overhead nice and fat.
Fuck Ford. Toyota is more American that that POS.
What an amazing tactic blaming somebody else for your failing business and not on your shitty product.
Get off fuckbook faggot
It is hard to see an Aryan Christian company (hah) take a toll by Mighty Trump's efforts.
Definitely jewish plot singling out our Nation's greatest auto company. They got so pissed from Ford communicating what they do that they ramped up immigration in Dearborn, MI specifically.
This will all settle as Republican majority achieved.
Fuck you for unironically scrolling down antisocial media feed.
Just because a corporation is not exactly able to compete means that the concept is wrong. As far I remember they didn't move overseas and just simply reduce the size of the workforce. Also those jobs would have been all gone if tariffs have not been in place as well.
FORD??? WHAT??? WHO???
Of course the name of the great Aryan Inventor Henry Ford sends shivers down your spine.
See, jew, the difference between America and Israel is, unlike you, we just make shit. You have to run around throwing ceremonies and plastering on the walls "we are word leader in innovation" "we are greatest engineers" lol so comfy.
We just actually are those things. Talk is cheap, Moritz.
Ford is a shitty car company and the entirety of GM needs to be firebombed to learn their lesson.
NFL ratings are up
This unironically. Toyota builds more cars in north america, more beneficial to local economies.
Well yer, I don't think ford even makes cars in MURCIA anymore, at least the ones here aren't.
Also GM is pretty shit too, but still better than ford.
>Just because a corporation is not exactly able to compete means that the concept is wrong. As far I remember they didn't move overseas and just simply reduce the size of the workforce
Even if the company is tanking, they still need to meet demand. It's simply more rewarding, regardless of protectionist measures, to exploit cheaper labor wherever you can find it.
>Also those jobs would have been all gone if tariffs have not been in place as well
That's exactly my point. Only difference is that the tariffs are an ineffectual way of patching a crooked system that rewards globalization. Cheap labor (and potential tax havens) will ALWAYS trump grinning and baring it from your home country. Even if someone were benevolent enough to take the hit to profits, investors aren't stupid. Any negative opportunity cost is unacceptable in that regard.
I have no idea whats going on with your replay or what are you trying to >imply thank you for wasting my time, now my supervisors has took my lunch break away, fuck you fucking racist :
Ford are truly a multinational though, they're trying to build niche cars for different markets, you won't see a Ranger Raptor in the US. Toyota and the others seem to have less models over more markets.
ford.com.au
They wan't over 80 grand for a Raptor, fuck that, you can buy a helicopter for that.
so.... mexico is losing some jobs
next
Plus the Americans get the non chinese built version, I mean where is our ford F-150? Fuck Ford.
>need new car 5 months ago
>buy Toyota because it's the most reliable brand in the world
>still feel guilty about buying a nip brand instead of an american brand like Ford
>later find out Fords are made in China while Toyotas are made in Kentucky
>Toyota because it's the most reliable brand in the world
Not always the case, car brands don't = all models to be reliable.
But fuck that nip shit, doing some research on some German cars and picking the right one can be the most reliable fucking thing in the world, plus is Aryan.
wtf liberals love ford now
Yeah when I think reliability my mind immediately thinks up the tiger tank, the panther, german reliability. Definitely.
Ford Foundation is Far Left.
Ford Higher Ups all donate to Democrats
Germany lied about their diesel engine tech for several years
The irony, considering the things published in Fords name.
Mr. Ford is dead and has been dead for years. Same with disney, progressives love them now that Mr. Disney is dead.
mmm would have been better off with Subaru
And I should give a shit about that because? You live in a country where some people modify their trucks to pollute as much as possible.
Who the fuck cars nigger, MUH ENVIRONMENT!
Onions boys drive Ford's
Huaweidingdong driver detected
That’s what Milton Friedman told you, and that’s what caused the 2008 crisis.
>falling for the muh Toyota is bulletproof meme
Cars can't even sustain being reliable in any load more than a single passenger over long term driving and their trucks are basically only good for light payloads.
npc word of mouth for decades
Yeah that is why I can't support American car brands. They virtue signal at a higher rate than foreign car brands.
Also, maintenance of a Japanese car brand is lower over time compared to maintenance of a foreign brand like German cars.
Pretty much this, pisses me off sometimes when people say it was a mistake buying a second hand Euro car, despite the fact mines done 232,560km with 0 problems and some soi boi with a toyota is complaining about some stupid bullshit wrong with his car.
Toyota Landcruiser is used by militaries and the United Nations.
Toyota Trucks are the preferred trucks in war zones like the Middle East.
euro cars are great but they dont even make many real trucks
Ford "lays off" a significant % of their workforce every few weeks, and eventually "rehires" them. Meanwhile they continue to get paid normal take home while "unemployed". That's how the union works, this is the definition of fake news.
My former teacher's corolla e110 hatchback runs fine for more than 20 years. Rare case maybe?
VW Amarok, and I believe Mercedes is coming out with a pickup truck and they make Military trucks for Euro armies.
I'm almost certain I remember reading last year that Ford was already planning on axing almost all their cars.
Ford has made some retarded business decisions in the US with trend chasing recently and are feeling the pain of it now. If you want proof of it look at their lineup in a couple years, it’s only going to be the focus and the mustang only. They had some Chrysler-tier management and fucked themselves into the ground in the US market. So to pull themselves out of it they are again pulling a Chrysler again and streamlining their business and getting back on track. I think this is only a natural reaction and less dependent on the tariffs.
Actually a lot of their stuff (focus, fiesta, ranger) is made in Germany. I think only the mondeo/fusion is made in the US (Michigan).
>Ford should've gone bankrupt in 2008
They admirably enough were the only US company to not go bankrupt or take government handouts because they closed several plants, sold off their assets and focused their production. Fuck them for using China/Mexico though.
>Protectionism is possible when the entire economic system inevitably drifts towards globalization
>inevitably
There's nothing inevitable about it. It's the product of corporate controlled, treasonous politicians passing specific laws and trade deals to benefit themselves and their donors. See: Nixon opening up trade with China in the first place.
All sedan/hatchbacks yes, they are only going to be making utility vehicles now.
Yer m8, you don't want a GM or ford car being built in Germany, I mean goddam the Holden astra/ Captiva and any other opel junk are terrible.
Only real German companies put effort into it.
It's sad but it's still true. They over-engineer everything (even BMW motorcycles) with a bunch of extra gadgets and other shit. It's cool but when something goes wrong you have to pay out your ass at a BMW dealer/repair to get it fixed.
Or you could watch youtube videos, buy the part for 50 dollars and fix it yourself? Who the hell goes to a mechanic anyway?
>Subaru
>reliable
Pick one
t. Legacy SpecB owner
The new commodore makes me sick.
Ford was in trouble before the trade war.
They lose assloads of money on cars, the F150 basically pays for everything else.
To counter this they are discontinuing all car lines and becoming a truck and SUV only company.
Most of their cars except the Mustang were all made somewhere else.
There has never been a piece of legislation preventing someone from moving their business overseas, so long as they could afford it. That would be the final solution to the globalization problem, but it's never been done before. As for the inevitability part, it's just a fact that paying foreigners will always be cheaper. So long as the goal is to maximize profits, that will always be a problem. Any business that expands large enough will take handouts from whatever entity is willing to give it to them. It's a fact.
Any holden nowadays is junk, STAY AWAY. People need to do research on the car before they commit to buying.
I've done extensive research on an Audi A6 HF and according to consumer reports it is extremely reliable and they aren't that expensive.
All the Asian street racers I've seen in my area use Subarus. There must be something to them over nip shit.
>Closing factories in china loses Americans jobs
???
?????
???????
IS THIS ARTICLE CLICKBAIT OR IS THE AUTHOR RETARDED? IT EVEN STATES THAT THE TARIFFS ON CARS FROM CHINA TO AMERICA IS TOO EXPENSIVE. HOW IS THIS COSTING AMERICANS JOBS?
I DO NOT UNDERSTAND.
87 replies and not a single (((eisenstein)))
Fuck off nu/pol/
Yeah, they are just blaming the tariffs for shit that has been in the works for years.
>Most of their cars except the Mustang were all made somewhere else.
>""""American"""" Manufacturers
Subaru is also nip...
But the logo is the Australian flag. That's not right.
So you think the southern cross can only be seen from Australia?
>Who the hell goes to a mechanic anyway?
People who don't want to clutter their mind with how to move greasy metal things around I guess. It's still true that BMW is over-engineered, just like WWII Tigers were.
Losing tariffs after WWII, and opening up trade deals with third world shitstains (China, India, etc) is what caused off-shoring. Said trade deals were enacted to benefit international corporations (who fund political campaigns) while gutting the US working/middle classes
>There has never been a piece of legislation preventing someone from moving their business overseas, so long as they could afford it. That would be the final solution to the globalization problem
China literally executes company heads who use too much foreign investment/labor/assets in their companies. I think there's a good middle ground to be found.
They were reliable, something changed.
The Subaru aftermarket is pretty solid. It helps that the EJ25 engine series is their only significant performance motor so a lot of parts can fit on a lot of cars. Plus Cobb accessports are rad. On the whole though Subarus tend to blow their headgasket earlier than other cars.
