>pay $25,000 a year to go to college
>see shit like this at some club fair event held on campus
>this is what my tuition is funding
So guys what do you think of (((college)))? Is it worth it?

if it's not STEM or finance, no
i am going for finance and business administration
It’s all a scam my friend. Trade Schools get you an actual needed job without all that degree bullshit. And as far as the anti-pres shit goes, they’ve done that for decades. anti-bush merch, anti-nixon merch, so on.
follow trends men are going to universities less and less subconsciously men know uni is a scam and looking elsewhere. just my 2 cents user the money you spend on uni could pay off a fair chunk of an actual home.
I understand this and I'm seriously thinking about just going into the work force or learning a trade or maybe doing military reserves while saving up for a house.
I go to a state school anyway and it's not like I'm an amazing student, 3.2 business finance major at a state school. Just some average guy, I might get a $50k a year job in some office somewhere.
I'm not really into it and think I'd get more out of just working full time and avoiding all this mandatory political indoctrination everywhere and save my money. The problem is I've already put 2 years into it.
i started as an apprentice gf at the times dad wouldnt allow me to go army route, at the back end of that did uni via correspondence.
hard to know what you should given youve already invested two years into uni i guess. dont sweat grades no ones going to ask about them imo but im a mere blue collar fag.
I want to go to university for palaeontology and the price is about $8000 a year. I'd end up in debt i could never escape and that tears my heart out since i've wanted to do it since i was a child.
I'm also afraid that if i ever DID get into paleontology, i'd find out that the scientific field is full of leftist garbage, anti-science and propaganda.
Also i can't into math and it makes me incredibly nervous.
pretty colors
You sound like this faggot I knew in highschool that always talked about being a marine biologist and diving on coral reefs and studying dolphins and shit and all I said was "who's going to pay you for that?"
he's a welder now
You only pay 25k a year? Good job user!
Question for peeps:
Why do you choose to go to college if you will be indebt? My parents made sure I would be fully covered. Further, why would you go to college specifically for a major that isn't preparing you for a high paying job and go into debt?
I feel no sympathy for my cohorts who go into humanities and then whine about their debt and poor job prospects. It's like they couldn't be bothered spending 5 minutes during senior year of highschool thinking about their future before before applying.
There's actually quite a lot of work in palaeontology. I've gotten to find fossils in the mountains of BC and shit.
Theres a lot of competition in Canada for it which creates great jobs everywhere, but going into such a sheer amount of debt is pretty dangerous desu. I'll probably pay it all off in one go as an older man instead of digging myself into a hole.
Say noooo.
Lay down the law. They want to study Beyoncé, or feminism 3rd wave. Let them pay for it.
Or
Trash all that. Set them in the right path. Take a long road trip. Disconnect them from the web.
Yes. It is very worth it. In fact, it is really what you want. You should fight this message and those who propagate it. Use words. You must stand up for what is true and right in the world. You can not allow the hate to fester. Follow Kanye - Lead with Love.
there was a dreamer as in (illegals) club at my school. I think the name of it was literally illegal aliens club, or someone had a shirt that read "I am an illegal alien" at the club fair or something
College is worth it. Wants to work right away. Pick electrical engineering. Much more career options.
tbf isnt that the point end of engineering degrees that not everyones capable of?
Feel like that really depends on the school user.
I couldn't tell you tho. I though engineering was extremely easy, basically just memorization of shit very few problems that actually require creative solutions.
So you're gonna work for some university?
Sounds kinda shitty. Wont you also have to get a doctorate
Forget what came before, sunk costs fallacy and all that. Is investing another 50k and 2 years of your life for that college degree worth it or not?
Especially at undergraduate level it's basically just like playing chess. It takes some creativity and intelligent to invent a good game. Much less is required to learn it and play it.
Wait... do unis really give funding to student political organizations?
Why?
I bet (((they))) wouldn't give funding to a right wing one
its a shame really i understand the uses of math but remembering the entire formula etc, i dunno wish i didnt fuck about in school so much. but still only work 5 months a year now making decent coin but i sortve do still aspire for more.
but i wanna be a scientist
I thought the thumbnail was MDMA and i came here to call you a faggit
Are you sure? Do you know what a scientist does?
I worked in a lab for a little while. I spent 8 hours a day crushing ceramic pebbles. And I made 10 bucks an hour.
I mean to be fair memorization standards are kind of a bullshit filter. It's not like you don't have references at hand when you actually work. It's kind of silly how they do it too since atleast from my experience when I took signal processing they never actually proved any of the mathematics
They just said here is a Fourier transform table. Memorize it and this stuff works just cause. Most engineers aren't actually all that great at actual mathematics.
I'm taking finance and it is as bad as they say it is
What school. My teachers were mostly conservative
i think ive left it far to late desu im 28. yeah heaps of engineers at work are just normal guys to me and not autismo types. how long you done it for?
meh i dropped out after i got my 2-year in computer science
fuck college, it was miserable
its never too late to go back if you truly need it, but it will be weird to be around younger people. i went at 22 and even that was weird to be around 18 year olds.
I did a few internships but wasn't super into industry. Right now am working towards a PhD
Oh shit you asked how long, I just finished undergrad a fews years ago. I applied direct to PhD.
College is completely not worth it for reasons so far beyond your little picture, it's not even remotely funny. In short, college is evil incarnate.
>trump is a nazi
If only the left could meme.
Ask them if they have any "Fuck Obama" pins.
>thinking that paying $25000 a year to be educated for someone else's benefit is normal
You are literal dead weight and you should off yourself immediately.
College and Unis fell to the (((Frankfurt school))) years ago.
youtu.be
Without enlarging the picture this looks like some shit I collected back when I was 6 years old.
I'll leave it at that.
