How long were you there? I was walking in to town at maybe 2:30, and saw a very wide ambulance going by like a bomb. I wonder if it was Heather Heyers? The helicopter was still in the sky at that time, too. I know all the real stuff went down at noon or before. Can you confirm my timeline? Was it another ambulance? I never went to the secondary location, when I got into town ~3pm it was packed with and roads blocked by the scariest, asshole-est-looking swat teams. I figured I'd done my bit, and didn't even know where the secondary park was. So I split.

... I had brought 3 shirts - 2 civvie ones to wear before and after, and the white polo. I was walking through town (this was somewhere between 2:30 and 3) and some lefty was telling other lefties "Their uniform is normal dress. You couldn't pick them out of a crowd". I didn't feel like being witty or provocative so I just walked by.

Then saw the ambulance blow by. Somewhere in there the helicopter wasn't there anymore. Passed some antifa sitting on a sidewalk (probably waiting for a ride), then got into town proper. I was aware that Clanton had been tracked by his shirt, so I wore a 'before' shirt, did actually change into my polo in town despite the townspeople being around - luckily they didn't seem to be in a mood to fight. I don't think I ever changed into my 'after' shirt.

The fliers I saw before the event put Spencer's name first. We had good momentum from the trump rallies, and Charlottesville caused people to associate trump rallies with spencer rallies.

The inverted swastika never existed before national socialism, the black sun symbol did. Those who used it there may have done so because of its connections to national socialism; they may have done so because of its connection to traditional germanic runes and culture; they may have liked the general aesthetics of it and its tone that fits in with many fascist and reactionary movements of the early 1900s.

People are perfectly free to be national socilialists; its not my ideal ideology though I'd absolutely support it over pro mass-immigrstion universalist progressivism. I don't know the ideologies of everyone at that rally, but I do know that calling the black sun symbol a "nazi flag" is an objective falsehood.
