I've been to all the former Yugo countries, Bulgaria and Romania and the one that struck me as most corrupt out of them was Bulgaria. Apparently you can still bribe the police for speeding there, so locals told me.

Serbia is totally worth visiting. It's chill as fuck. Some of the realest (and not to mentioned redpilled) people I've met are from there.
Beautiful nature too, I went hiking through the Frushka Gora mountains near Novi Sad, when I finished I hitchhiked a ride back to Novi Sad within 20 minutes by a friendly dude who didn't want paying, but I gave him 500 dinars anyway telling him to get himself a few beers.

It's a wide topic of discussion. I can speak about my country and from my personal limited point of view only. Corruption lives here and is endemic to our society but it's far more sophisticated than the stereotypical sleazy government official demanding money upfront. You see, most corruption here is organized. Free lancers do not exist for long and are usually persecuted and charged. The said corruption goes upwards and feeds the ruling party/parties black accounts. Along the way individuals do take some money for themselves but that alone is hardly the problem. Almost every private/public partnership is given to companies that coincidentally win all other competitions. Our projects are almost always over paid, delayed and under standards. With money siphoned every step. The big government institutions are bloated, ineffective and the system put in place that allows citizens to interact with them are byzantine enough to warrant some to seek giving out bribes just to get their case solved. The government talks all the time about reforms that are never applied properly and claim to work in making dealing with them efficient and electronic, both not happening.

All in all, you might as a regular citizen never face any on this but our society as a whole is bleeding resources to feed a select few. Thus our economy is a joke as no one ambitious enough will be spared the bribes and thus many de-motivated people either not bother becoming entrepreneurs or just fuck off abroad.

I can entertain few personal anecdotes provided interest is provided.

7.62mm is much faster and lighter and just goes thru people.
This same gun also comes in a 9mm variant which is heavier and slower and it knocks poeple back and remains in their bodies.

Countries like Serbia and Croatia have corruption when it comes to government projects and bureaucracy but I'd give Serbia a clear edge in this because the private sector (as opposed to Croatia) is completely free, it's basically the wild West while Croatia has heavy gov influence over private businesses and the corruption that comes with it.

The worst is Bosnia (which I know) and I suppose Kosovo (since it is similar - being a failed state and all)
In Bosnian Muslim regions young girls even have to spread their legs on the university for their professors and whoever has power there to be able to pass an exam or enter a course.
You wouldn't believe what I heard and saw there.
There is no distinction between private and gov gang run sectors anymore, everything is controlled by a few people who are kinda like warlords, only they don't kill people as much as they would in a warzone.
But I have no doubt they would if the situation changed.
The Serbian part of Bosnia is similar but it is kinda like soft Fascism or something like it.
Everybody is pressured to act in a certain way to preserve their Nationalist goals.
Corruption is still high but they mainly use it to ensure tribal loyalty besides doing it for personal enrichment.
The Muslim part is only personal enrichment, very little work for the community.

That's the countries I know of. Montenegro is supposedly party Mafia run (I noticed lots of expensive cars without even having numbers plates) but I never did business there or work there so I don't know how it is.
Only thing I know is that bureaucracy is very big there, getting the gov to allow you to expand a building (I did that 10 years ago or so) takes forever and is very problematic, probably because they expected me to give them bribes, which I refused.
