Prolly not but I think it is ignorant to define the worth of a person based on how wealthy he is and the same is true for communites.
Business, Finance and Wealth are a tool to an end, not the end itself and those who chase wealth aren't superior to those who simply want family/community/food and decent overall acomdations.
I have been to poor rural communities that were extremely nice, clean and full of intelligent/moral/good people who established a good quality of lives for themselves and the community as a whole even without much "finance" going on around them if you know what I mean.
I'd rather live in a community like that then in many urban communities which probably produce more "wealth" and maybe have more opportunities for wealth chasers but don't actually provide a better living experience for the members of their community.
