This will not only help them fiscally with the task of patrolling the borders but more importantly will cast away any fears that they might lose optics/image for doing so. If Italy, Austria, V4, etc applaud any efforts to patrol the borders, then they'll be more willing to do so.
If this happens, it'll mean that the barbarian hordes would have lost 2 of the main routes into Europe (Greece & Italy), with only cucked Spain being still open to the invaders.
This should also be seen as a warning to Spain, that if they continue to allow invaders in their lands, they're gonna stay there indefinitely.
