I think their issue is that it fetishizes the rape of stronk independent women. Not that any of it matters since it was only used as a crutch to get people into the story. The female characters are literally never in any danger again because of the MC being an expert at killing the would be rapists. People are railing against it for all the wrong reasons.
Goblin Slayer does it with edge to extreme though, especially the novels which contain so detailed and sadistic descriptions of female adventurers tortured and raped by goblins that it might be the fetish of author.
