I wish I had answers to your questions. What has really bugged me is why didn't the feds utilize the county sheriff at all in the siege? I've seen a few interviews with the sheriff and according to him they weren't doing anything illegal, and the guy got complaints about the compound a lot and was there a lot. He had a good rapport with Koresh, so why leave the sheriff out in the cold when he was trying to help save lives?
