You may have a point, but please refrain from using such stupid arguments as Africa. The religious divide is also sharply a racial divide. Much of North Africa is Islamic yes, but also much of it is Berber and Arab in race. They are completely different people than the sub-saharan black african bantus in the south. If all of Africa was Muslim, those black bantus in the the southern half would still be trouble.

Again you're only naming African countries. Brazil has the most Catholics in the world. It may be secular but 85% of people say they're Catholic, not atheist. Same with Chile, Argentina, all three are good nations, even Mexico is decent.
In Europe, Austria, Portugal, Poland, Hungary, and others are all firmly Catholic and are good countries. Russia, Ukraine, Greece are decent Orthodox ones. But I won't count France and Germany as christian when they're so secular.
Also Arab Christians have contributed a lot to the caliphates and usually stood with us over the Byzantines and Crusaders, who slaughtered them for being arabs anyway.
Iran is stupid though. They allow people to have transgender operations in order to get rid of gays, it's disgusting. They have an Islamic government but a society closer to south korea's.
