Actual junior officer in the British military here. Overall, most young, male officers and soldiers are what you would consider firmly right wing, generally sympathetic towards Tommy Robinson. Also I personally think the armed forces are more loyal to the monarch as opposed to the parliament and government. At the moment no one is seriously talking about a coup, and There be a coup unless a monarch sanctions it.

I've worked as a tradie on the barracks for top ranked officers, and it is a world away from the squaddies.
