You should buy gold only to preserve your wealth. Its not really an investement. Although in terms of fiat currency it should increase in value. But remember, this is not because your gold is getting heavier (of course), it is beause the value of the currency is decreasing. So theoretically 1oz of gold will be worth millions. A million nothings though.
