Just your average Category 4 hurricane this time of year. Nothing to be alarmed about. The climate's always changing.

Most of the time the earth has existed, it has done so without ice. I too am glad we are returning to normal.
Sometimes, you see comments so stupid that it's impossible to tell if the person writing them is serious or joking.
>serious
Prove me wrong then faggot.
cringe
That’s literally true. The earth is supposed to be a hot, wet, green world. These are the ideal conditions for life. High food, high oxygen.
Ice ages are an indicator of a cooling period but when those periods end there is zero ice.
>this time of year
You are a moron. We still have a month and a half more of hurricane season.
Alright. Humans evolved for the current climate (or colder). Rapid changes in climate have always caused lots of extinction. Rapid changes in climate are almost certainly going to make it impossible to feed near 10 billion people, not to mention that sea level rise is going to make the current levels of illegal migration look like nothing.
>be hurricane michael
>This reminds me of hurricane Andrew
>be 1992
yep, it happens - particularly in flordia
There are no "ideal conditions" for life. Life adapts to whatever conditions are present within a certain range of possibility.
>A hurricane rips through Florida during hurricane season.
DRUMPF IS FINISHED
the gulf has bad storm surge, the category has nothing to do with flooding
>Rapid changes in climate are almost certainly going to make it impossible to feed near 10 billion people
10 billion people basically eating and shitting is unsustainable and quite literally will ruin the place by creating green house gasses...If we go by your models. The most common fact is that there are too many humans. Do the world a favor and neck yourself.
Global warming is real, and is unstoppable. We learned this shit in elementary school. I don't know what they teach you kids in schools now, but they don't exactly equip you for the real world.
It's still hurricane season dip shit
Flooding is a normal occurrence in Florida with or without Hurricanes. Lived here for 30+ years. Ever hear of Hurricane parties? Believe me...they aint shit. This isn’t Haiti...
How does any of that make your original comment not completely retarded? What, you think the US is immune to a collapse of its food supply if the climate rapidly changes and major aquifers run dry?
Oddly enough, the change in climate is going slower than predicted.
Hurricane Carla ranks as the most intense U.S. tropical cyclone landfall on the Hurricane Severity Index. The third named storm and first Category 5 hurricane of the 1961 Atlantic hurricane season, Carla developed from an area of squally weather in the southwestern Caribbean Sea on September 3. Initially a tropical depression, it strengthened slowly while heading northwestward, and by September 5, the system was upgraded to Tropical Storm Carla. About 24 hours later, Carla was upgraded to a hurricane. Shortly thereafter, the storm curved northward while approaching the Yucatán Channel. Late on September 7, Carla entered the Gulf of Mexico while passing just northeast of the Yucatán Peninsula. By early on the following day, the storm became a major hurricane after reaching Category 3 intensity. Resuming its northwestward course, Carla continued intensification and on September 11, it was upgraded to a Category 5 hurricane.
Formed:September 3, 1961
Dissipated:September 17, 1961
Daily reminder that the 20th century was one of the calmest in history
>Humans evolved for the current climate
That’s not relevant, the earth wasnt created for us wow, Sometimes, you see comments so stupid that it's impossible to tell if the person writing them is serious or joking, but then you check their flag and see it’s a leaf
THIS IS SOME WEATHER MODIFICATION
>you think the US is immune to a collapse of its food supply if the climate rapidly changes and major aquifers run dry?
Currently we produce 3x the produce that we did 30 years ago in the same space. IF there is no polar ice caps, there will be more available fresh water.
The problem IS correcting itself. Climate change has happened for the whole of the history of earth with warm and cold spells. Earth is like a pendulum. It seeks a balance and will bounce back and forth between "extremes" (your terms not mine) until it has expended its energy.
In the USA for example we throw out so much food before it gets to the store it is sickening.
