If gravity isn't real, why is it that we can observe and quantify it? Same with the flat earth. You could put your own camera onto a weather balloon and observe it yourself.

The moonlight cooling thing seems pretty dumb. If you take something outside and let it sit on the cold ground at night, it's going to get colder. That doesn't mean the moon is cooling the Earth.

There are many aspects of the Apollo mission that paved the way for why we use today. For instance, Apollo was the first major application of a Kalman Filter. The Kalman filter is a state estimator that uses a mathematical model of the systems dynamics to eliminate sensor noise which is essential for the control of a spacecraft. The implications were huge, and it was groundbreaking at the time. But it still know how to do it, in fact Kalman Filtering is ubiquitous in controls everywhere. Our ECLSS that we use today is far beyond what we used back during Apollo, in fact, recent bribe water treatment has brought fluid recovery to 85-90%. Our goal now is to close the life support loop as much as possible.
I think this misconception came from the fact that we can’t reproduce the F-1 engine. This is true with a major caveat that requires knowledge of classic and modern manufacturing techniques.
