is it ok to just come up to people and film them and then post the video on the internet without consent?
why is there no "image property" like "intellectual property"? my body and the image of it is my private property, how come it ends up in the public domain without my premonition? the guy recording it will make money off it while i get jack-shit. not very free market oriented if you'l ask me...
It's not scummy to take a video and make money off it. What IS scummy is people like you who think freedom should be curtailed

freedom is great, but your freedom ends where my freedom begins. that woman, for example didnt ask permission on whether she can post his image or not. people just do that and make money off of it. i somebody would ever did this with me i would sue his ass. not need to kick anybody
Ian Sanders
>public space please jew, i thought you guys were all lawyers and shit
Jacob Sullivan
I believe this happened in Toronto, which is not a dual-consent city. Meaning the filming party does not need the filmed party's permission to use the video as they see fit.
Charles Cruz
yes, it is public space. when you look at me and i look at you we are in public. however when you take a picture of me and PRIVATIZE it, as in putting it in the private sphere (YT for example) we are no longer in public. my image goes viral. YT makes money off it. you make money off it. nobody asked me if its ok the post it. nobody gave me money for it
Nolan Lewis
Wrong, freedom doesn't overlap. You're just as free to walk away as I am to shoot videos. Even billionaires in Russia can't sue people for shit like this.
Brandon Thomas
no such thing as privacy when you out in public. Dumb faggot. stay inside if you don't want to be filmed
dumb kike

Yes it is okay provided you are on public property.
