Either that's the world's most blatant lie or Amazon's AI was 30 years behind the ball in terms of sophistication. More so it sounds like the anonymous commentor is trying to hide the fact that the AI would have cross-referenced the resumes with who ended up getting employed, and/or who performed the best when employed.
I for one cannot believe that a multi-national corporation would try to obfuscate the fact that men are better than women at IT.
