There's not such thing as a Crimean. The majority of Crimean population is Russian/Ukrainian, who are no different from Russians and Ukrainians everywhere else. There are also Crimean Tatars, who are Muslim and therefore questionably white, and Pontic Greeks, who are whiter than the average Greek in Greece.

Many Russians from Southern Russia (especially the Kuban' region) are closer to Ukrainians anthropologically than to Northen Russians. The cossack sub-ethnic group are a particularly obvious example. They're to a large degree assimilated descendants of the zillion nomad tribes who were roaming the western part of the Great Eurasian Steppe before Russians came and kicked the nomads' asses. Btw, many modern-day Caucasus peoples are the same - they're just these former nomads who were driven from the plains to the mountains by Russians.
