Some very clever yet foolish people thought that they could profit off of the low IQs of the brown and black hordes. Libertarians and Progressives have the same goals in mind but different approaches to the problem. Both groups want the hordes so that libertarians can profit and the other to advance multiculturalism. One group wants the hordes to do a demographic replacement so that the new workers will work like slaves (as blacks and browns have slave mentalities). The Progressives want demographic replacement because whites are seen as a blight upon the world and must be eliminated to that they may be forgiven for past sin (if there were any to begin with?) Either way the US could change this bad situation overnight, but won't. Europe on the other hand is different, Europeans are actively inviting their own demise and for no good reason either. European situation is by far worse than the American one because it has happened in less than a decade where as the US one has been going for over 245 years.
