You want people to give you sympathy and attention because you think it will help your confidence. It won't, you're placing the locus of control externally, your confidence can only come from you. If its true that people don't care about you, and its not because of things you've done wrong or serious flaws, then its not that people don't care about you because you're an inferior human being. They don't care about you because you're just like anyone else, and need to meet the same conditions as anyone to have people in your life who care about you. You just haven't met those conditions. Think about how many people there are in the world. You're placing too much importance on yourself, your ego, your whole universe is you or you are taking up too much of it. There are so many people, why wouldn't you expect for some or many people to escape the attention of others, its because the world doesnt serve and owe any individual, it just is.

If jesus is real and God or a God then for whatever reason its not part of the deal for him to stop people from doing bad things to others or to stop bad things from happening to people. At least not all the time. For all we know he could prevent bad things but obviously we only know about the bad things that do happen.

I think the idea in christianity is that God allows people to commit the evil acts/sins they want to commit so they can demonstrate and expose their nature, rather then restrict the acts when the acts are an expression of their nature anyway. That wouldn't change their nature, and deeds don't have the same wieght unless they're carried out.

I'm a successful artist (woodworker) and have zero friends. Spent my evening alone at the bar (my Saturday habit to feel normal) and just got home. Never once thought about becoming a woman.

Find a solo hobby and learn to enjoy it. I turned mine into a major career and life changer. I love going to my outbuilding, putting on some Esa-Pekka Salonen and creating something that people will remember. I even recently had a piece put on permanent display in the state's Modern Art Museum. Felt great.
