McBeep

Because robots don't get paid.

You cucks suddenly become socialists and UBI gibbs when robots outcompete you.

(((somebody))) does

Attached: robo-burger.jpg (1000x600, 92K)

And that (((somebody))) legally has to pay taxes.

Im the farthest thing from ubi!
if a taxpayer gets replaced by a robot, who makes up the difference?

Presumably the profits go up the food chain and taxed there..

Did it ever occur to you that robots present the same problem as immigrants?

You have a low-IQ workforce with zero standard-of-living that will do menial tasks for endless hours for a fraction of the pay.

There is no way for a first-world person to compete with a third-world person, OR a robot.

Join a union then you fucking leftie.

>if a taxpayer gets replaced by a robot, who makes up the difference?
What difference? The worker didn't die, they are now working another position or job (and probably earning more money doing it). The difference is people are getting food quicker and cheaper, which has a net positive on society.

please tell me what the (you) means??
am I doing something wrong?
t. still newfag

>lefty
Why are you suddenly angry? Jesus, dude.
I'm not arguing for the UBI. I'm identifying robots as a problem.

Also, Protip: The big vulnerability of unions is an employer's ability to fire everybody.
For that reason, unions will never protect anybody from a robot taking their job.

Taxation is theft. Also we women who had an abortion doesn't pay the taxes of the taxpayer they refused to birth ? Also, in a world where Domino's pizza exist, why the fuck do we still pay taxes ???

(you) should leave this place

Not people. Side note: quality has dramatically dropped even for macshit recently.

I don't think robots are going away though. Too much to gain in productivity. So... tough titties really. May as well go hide in the woods and wait for the robot bulldozers to coming rolling around as they terraform the planet and you choke to death on the fumes.

eventually (soon) there won't be jobs for the replaced.
inb4 Luddite, but it can't continue without a culling

Those aren't robots, retard.

You replied seriously to an australian shitpost. Be more vigilant user.

user, you're such a fucking poseur.

If you don't have anything meaningful to say, why the fuck are you flapping your big nigger lips?

I'm not leaving, it's the only place on the internet that makes any sense, but thanks, I'll go back to lurking

So when are you signing up for the Human Resistance?

No one. The government should get smaller and eventually disappear.

And ? You are saying everything would be make automatically without the help of wageslaves ? Great, give everybody neetbux and let them buy those shit, who cares ? It doesn't cost anything.

Because those who pay taxes have the right to vote
Do you want robits being allowed to dictate law?
I didn't think so

Okay commie.

Bullshit. We've had the technology to replace burger flippers for over a century. Everything that can be automated and remain profitable HAS been automated. The fact is there is a built-in limit and that limit is human nature. This automation apocalypse you autists ramble about doesn't take into account the psychology of people who leave their parent's basement on a regular basis. Nobody demands an automation apocalypse, so companies have zero incentive to make it happen.

>Everything that can be automated and remain profitable HAS been automated.
>companies have zero incentive to make it happen.
Are you retarded?

Protip: Even if a product is produced by machines, and customers are served by machines, you still don't have an actual MARKET for your business if everybody is jobless and broke.

If automation reaches a certain point, UBI will become a practical inevitability.

>it can't continue without a culling
What about just offering free painless suicide booths to anybody who wanted them?

(me) HaHa
> those who pay taxes have the right to vote

where did that come from?

>Are you retarded?
Not an argument, faggot. Name one entry-level job that can't be automated on a technological level. Didn't think so. The limit has always been the demand of the customer. 99% of things sold in the grocery store were produced via automation, yet restaurants are not automated. Why? Because normal people go to a restaurant specifically for tribalistic reasons that involve humans. People prefer dealing with humans than dealing with robots when it comes to anything involve customer support or hospitality, otherwise every restaurant would already be sterile servos, sensors, conveyor belts etc.
>companies have zero incentive to make it happen.
If they did, they would have done it a long time ago, like every other thing that has been automated.

In the future, robots may take all the jobs and then we can charge them taxes to fund a wealthy UBI so we can all stay home and watch Netflix.

So then why cant you just have robot consumers?

Corporate tax on profit
Tax on the laborers who ibstalled
Value added on sqles

Bill Gates thinks businesses should pay taxes on them.

There are tons of business that are moving towards more automation. Look at the logistic business. Truckers days are numbers. New technologies come out all the time and challenge the so called unautomable jobs. We havent seen the effect of AI on doctors and lawyers yet. It is a developing front, by no means exhausted. I would say it has only begun.

B-but we do?

(we) have to make up the difference
The government doesn't ever do that

youtube.com/watch?v=nccryZOcrUg

my buddy Bill agrees

But that (((somebody))) is a tax-exempt ""job creator"".

Then you have to create a line for when a machine becomes taxable

You realize rich people have higher tax rates than anyone, right?

The only times when, "The rich don't pay taxes" is if there are specific loopholes because a given amount of money has already been tapped for CORPERATE tax.

They might dodge taxes, but they are in no way, "Tax-exempt".

you are a smart person, that means you will be replaced with AI, instead of a robot

enjoy your ubi
