I understand it as a shitpost that is not really about sjws but it is being misinterpreted as such and because so many "people" are misinterpreting it to be about sjws or normals, the sjws and normals are then becoming the npcs described in the npc memes that are supposed to be ironic and without meaning in the first place, but I can't tell if npc was originally meant to be what it describes or if it was faked that way to expose actual npcs and thus those actual npcs became the description, like pepe originating as a shitpost and then "npcs" interpreting it as a nazi or far right symbol and then he was spammed as such because they made it so. It's like a troll on many layers quite confusing

The Term NPC has been part of vidya culture for some time, after the article it was adopted to identify those people who are programmed nearly to the point of total automation by Jow Forums, the meme gets out and people start calling normies and lefties NPC’s. Since most of them are not familiar with vidya terminology they had to look it up, then they realized they reason they had to look it up is because they are NPC’s. A non NPC could figure out the meme by its picture, its well known acronym and basic deduction, without the use of knowyourmeme or urban dictionary.
