You don't simply "call up the FBI, tell them XYZ is threatening me, and then call the Bureau back for regular friendly updates about 'so how is the investigation going, any heads on pikes yet, agent'?" The reality is far slower and far more prosaic and mundane. An agent takes the call, decides from the first 30 second elevator pitch you the victim describe to them whether it merits escalation to an actual case, and then, if it does - and most incidents called in do not - the victim is forwarded to a second, higher department with a second, higher agent to describe it to and the bar becomes even higher before the agency will devote time and resources to it.

If a case reaches this point, even then, time will pass before it arrives at a point where the Justice Department, not the FBI, assigns an attorney and the case is moved along to an actual court docket. When and if this occurs, the case then sits in that docket list for many months unless the victim is very high up along the chain. Few are on this chain. Even Hollywood celebrities do not get pushed ahead on this chain. Krassenstein is a literal who it would take months for a judge to read any case from.

Once the case has been filed in its appropriate court, ONLY THEN can a subpoena be issued. Jow Forums by the way can ignore it. Twitter and Facebook usually do. That's the way it works. For him to characterize it differently tells me he's lying. Brazenly. Yeah, kind of end of thread there.
