College loans should be illegal, they are predatory. You tell an 18 year old kid out of highschool that you will pay for his school, pay for his food and give him some walking around money, put no restrictions on the type of degree he can earn, and tell him he doesnt have to pay a dime till he graduates.

Most people are not smart enough to do much with a degree, combine that with the job market being over saturated with all the easy degrees and graduates have few good options. It would be better to have restrictions on degrees tied to college loans, and totally do away with loans that cover anything outside of tuition. College students generally have one or two classes a day, if that, they have time to work as well.

The problem is that the high schools brainwash kids into thinking they need to go to university. Both parents and teachers perpetuate this. It's hard to make informed decisions when you're 17 and everything around you has convinced you you need to go to college.

Getting a Student Loan used to be difficult. It's why people saved for their children's college funds and scholarships and financial aid were so important.

The continued expansion of federally backed student loans by democrats allowed colleges to turn into for-profit institutions with an endless supply of customers with no limit to their spending. Plus the new push for everyone to go to college regardless of whether or not they even had a career aspiration.

Cut to now, and everything is fucked up. Colleges charge whatever they want because any retard can get a student loan. People who can barely read go to college and get passed through retard courses so the colleges can collect their money. He currently is making $75/h working on rich peoples sports cars which is more money than some people I knew who went to a universities for STEM degrees. Also trade jobs are mandatory for a society to function, they will always be in demand and the ones that require more skill pay very well.
