I knew a guy who identified as Jewish who was a real asshole, although he was only 1/4 genetically Jewish. Technically his ethnic self-identity was valid though because it was all on his mom's side.
Aside from that one guy, though, I think most Jews I've met have been alright on a personal level. In political discussion boards and such I find that they tend to be centrist "let's find a reasonable compromise" types, as a result they're less likely to say anything I really get angry at than most other people.
Some of the most vehement critics of Israel I've seen have been middle class Jews
