>2nd round polls: BOLSONARO 59% X HADDAD 41% (Datafolha) Bolsonaro vs. Haddad run-off will happen in October 28th.
>BACKGROUND
Jair Bolsonaro is the front-runner in Brazil's presidential election. He is a conservative Christian, pro-gun, a former army captain, and the only candidate with no corruption charges against him. He's looking to modernise the lethargic Brazilian economy with the aid of UChicago economist Paulo Guedes. He wants to align Brazil's foreign policy with Western nationalist governments against the influence of China, Eurasianism and regional socialism (Venezuela and Cuba). He has a hard stance on crime and supports increasing the power of police forces and the army to tackle Brazil's drug and violence problems. Under heavy fire from the media and academia, with an extremely restricted campaign budget, and having survived an assassination attempt, Bolsonaro's presidential run is nothing short of extraordinary.
JB's antagonist in the presidential race is Fernando Haddad, a sociologist, former minister of education under Lula and former mayor of São Paulo. He's running for the left-wing Labour Party (PT) under the guidance of former president Lula, who is currently in prison after being convicted for corruption and money laundering. PT had been the ruling party in Brazil for 13 years, but is facing high rejection in the polls after a police investigation uncovered the largest known corruption scheme in Brazilian history, which PT architected.
Their wolfgirl personality cult. Ever looked inside /ptg/ threads? All they do is spam the AWOO wolfgirl and their Trump personality cult is so deluded they think everyone else is a shill.

Plano para os próximos 30 anos: Se livrar do lixo vermelho
Plano para os próximos 100 anos: Fazer com que todos candidatos fiquem competino entre si para ver quem é o mais anti-comunista de todos
Oooh that wolfgirl, sorry I got confused for a while Yeah we can probably keep something like that up, we already managed to keep kuruminha alive after all
I most definitely agree that an actual ancap society would be much better in all aspects. But given our current situation in which we are still bound to the state, a monarchy in which the only thing above the king is a constitution that guarantees protections to property rights and a state apparatus that would be much more liable and held to a higher, non-political standard, especially one that electoral politics didn’t matter as much, at least on a national level, the opportunities for corruption would greatly diminish. Especially given those in charge of the public apparati would be in charge of something that ultimately belongs to the king as opposed to a nebulous concept that is society. An act of corruption would be a crime against the king’s property, and property rights and the consequences for infringing it wouldn’t be any different than what would be applied to someone who infringed against a commoner.

Thanks mate

I want to cry my eyeballs out, I can't believe after 28 years of living in this shithole we might actually get these degenerates out of power through vote
I'd post my Bolsohype awoos, but i'm away from my main PC with all of them

They are not even trying anymore.
I started reading Eric Voegelin "Revolução e a Nova Ciência ". There are 6 or 7 volumes I think. I started reading volume III which deals with the degeneracy of Christianity to the point of exploding in the reformation. Another great book is "Hitler e os Alemães" The guy was a genius.
BTW I read everything you can imagine about jews and communism. Eric Voegelin work is deeper than everything you can imagine. Gustavo Barroso was right about many things but he was too naive to assume Hitler hated international bankers

She's fucking ugly, mate.

BUT THAT IS FAKE NEWS STOP THAT SHIT GAWD

that's a 4/10 in the south

i'd like to hear more arguments for monarchy someone talked earlier about the incentive to keep things working because you leave it in the family, but by the same logic wouldn't the royals want to keep increasing their property and influence? how does the constitution works differently to royals prevent this? and if it does, as much as you keep things going smothly, is there any incentive to make things grow if you can't increase your assets? i have no idea how a monarchy would work
Gabriel Peterson
IT'S FRIDAY NOW AND DAY OFF IN TERESINA-PI, TODAY I'M GOING TO THE CRAPPIEST BAR IN TOWN (RUSTED IRON TABLES, DRUNK TIOZÕES WITH SHIRT HALF OPENED, 40 YEARS OLD RAPARIGAS), SPREAD MORE FAKE NEWS, DRINK PITÚ STRAIGHT OF THE BOTTLE AND PUTTING OUT CIGARETTES IN WHORES TIGHTS
>wouldn't the royals want to keep increasing their property and influence? If they actually come close to tyranny they are literally risking having their heads chopped off. Also the monarchist constitution of Brazil basically separate the powers in a way that the monarch is solely the representative of morality of the country and has power solely over those matters.
HELL FUCKING YEAH BRO THE /HUE/VOLUTION IS FINALLY HAPPENING
That sounds really interesting user, could you tell me more about how it would work?
I mostly wnated a pistol due to its portability and being able to sneak it around to muggers wont know if I'm armed or not Are you sure that a shotgun is better for a beginner? I mean, I'm not a total newfag to guns, I have shot some before, but I dont think I'll be able to handle a shotgun recoil for now
>O PDT anunciou que pedirá a anulação das eleiçōes por causa da matéria da Folha sobre a suposta compra de pacotes de WhatsApp por gente ligada à campanha de Jair Bolsonaro, para disseminar fake news.
Any chance this will actually happen? And if it does, what then?
Sebastian Taylor
kek, it is the only right wing magazine of the country nowadays

I can definitely see where you're coming from, so tell me, how do you think this system could work better than we currently have? Asides from what you already mentioned ofc course, how would areas such as public health and education be handled? And, I assume at least, it would be a life-time monarchy, wouldn't they be more prone towards auhtoritarian rules, like whats happening in china? Dont get me wrong, I do believe we need to get our shit together first before starting to decentralize, primeiro order e depois progresso, but i also worry about how monarchy powers could be abused
Jordan Perry
The royals would still be bound to the constitution and would not be able to do anything that isn’t forbidden there. Even taxation would be dealt with differently because the incentive there would be to increase prosperity to the people, which means economic systems that lead to stagnation and poverty would not be in the best interest of the royals or anyone else, for that matter. It wouldn’t also be beyond reason that the crown wouldn't have its own businesses and means of acquiring more wealth. The biggest thing to worry in this scenario is power hungry monarchs that would try more corporatist measures, but even in that worst case scenario, it wouldn’t be as bad as things currently are because the scope of what can be done would be much smaller by definition. Because even if there were regulations to favor amigos do rei, those would potentially lead to stagnation which wouldn’t be in the best interest of the king, ultimately. Looking at a monarchy through a more proprietarian lens makes it easier to understand it, not seeing the king as necessarily in a political role but in a administrative and property owner role.
Jose Ross
Civil War, they don't want more elections because they know they will lose or rig it in a way that nobody will accept either. They don't want to give up power, they want to try to kill Bolsonaro or straight up revolt.
Lucas Price
>If they actually come close to tyranny they are literally risking having their heads chopped off couldn't you say the same about dictatorships though? it didn't work so far >Also the monarchist constitution of Brazil basically separate the powers in a way that the monarch is solely the representative of morality of the country and has power solely over those matters. what exactly does that mean? Im guessing reforcing/repressing specific religions, matters of abortion, death penalty etc but if it's just that why having a monarchy at all?
Ryder Davis
who the fuck knows at this point we are in a state of mass hysteria this is not a fucking normal election the day after bonoro got stabbed, they still dragged his name in the mud He has a fucking shitbag attached to his body, and another assassination attempt is just a matter of time. I'm hopeful this is in the bag, but god fucking dammit, when did everyone go fucking crazy?
Jack Anderson
Goddammit, and here I thought I was going to get my free time back after the elections. Fuck you user.
Joseph Brooks
I'm no expert by I'm pretty sure rule by a Christian monarch would be more benign than rule by communist Chinese technocrats.
Daniel Lopez
They don't even have proof, and by the money they told people used, it would be enough to buy enough groups to talk to 8.888.880.000 people, we don't have that many.
Jackson Taylor
This. It’s amazing how our imperial constitution was much more like the american one than the other European monarchical constitutions.
Oliver Wilson
She's ugly and probably smells bad.

Health and education could be handled privately and through charitable organizations. And with the tools we currently have it would be even easier to provide those services voluntarily.
Michael Miller
Who comfy here? I'll take day off friday to read Eric Voegelin and sleep. Next week I'm working 12h/12h for 3 days and then I'll get a small vacation for the rest of the week
Nice try Satan. She's our commiequeen, and I'd totally blast my load on her smug face.
Dominic James
It's not, they give details. Adelios lawyers are expensive as fuck and work to defend several PCC guys. PF listened to conversations were PCC bosses talk a lot of shit about bonoro and they clearly hate him. Adélio was friends with a PCC member who is out of jail and is originally from Montes Claros, but who now lives in Campinas where he posts disgusting photos with rifles and shit on Facebook. Afelio apparently also knew PCC members from Florianópolis.
Isaiah Hall
Who has the power to annul elections?
Also, could this turn into Brazil's version of "Russian Collusion"? I imagine that if it doesn't work to annul the election, they'll use it to force an investigation and highlight that Bolso is corrupt because he's being investigated. At least that sounds like something a communist would do.
Hudson Perez
Just realized now you were talking about a game waste of good OC
>Even taxation would be dealt with differently because the incentive there would be to increase prosperity to the people, which means economic systems that lead to stagnation and poverty would not be in the best interest of the royals or anyone else how so? I'm failing to understand where's the incentive. What do they lose if economy goes bad for everyone else but them?
David Hill
Not only the biggest crime gang, but they began as a communist guerrilla during the military regime. They were expressly marxist and communist in their inception. Comando Vermelho as well.
Hudson Ortiz
What's their next dirty move? Will there be another assassination attempt?
