I think you should try leaving the safety or the tourist attractions and going out to the real city for a couple hours. You'll know it by the fact that it looks like a communist urban center and loses every trace of Parisian old city charm. For double points, go between 11-5AM. You'll never come back. You could take a taxi through it if you're afraid. You'll see hundreds of blacks and arabs just wandering around in the darkness like rats looking for someone to rob. Paris is only beautiful if you're rich and contained in the safe zones.

My friend and I would stay out all night and never get harassed, the only time I really had an issue was near tourist spots and the metro with gypsies and blacks. Always literal shit in the streets and metro until 4-5am when they would clean the city
