Government has no place concerning marriage, Iraq was not a good decision, Government has no place outlawing recreational drugs (also explains why I oppose 12), and immigrants aren't bad, refugees and mass immigration are. We could definitely lower our immigration quota, I would propose drastically, and take in people who are definitively good for our country. In practice, yes immigration has been devastating. In theory, we could change it entirely and make it actually useful.

The question wasn't "Do you agree with current immigration policy" which I obviously don't. All it says is "Immigrants should be allowed to live and work in my country" and I think that's completely the case. I'll say it a second time, I think that our immigration system needs to be thoroughly reworked with a drastically reduced quota and targeting people with much more rigorous qualifications.

Okay and we agree on that. My only point is that there could be a scenario where immigration wasn't disastrous. But if we're only talking about what currently exists as law, I don't think we have much to disagree on.
