Winston won't be around forever. Being the party leader, he is the one keeping everyone in check. I'll support him whilst he is still around, but once he's gone, I suspect the party will change.

At the local levels, it's literally ordinary people voting on stuff to do with policy.

You have different branches around the country, that people can join. Members of those branches can elect delegates and submit policies to the main party to put forward. You can be actively involved without having to deal with the media personally, and without having to become a politician yourself.
