First of all, Jow Forums doesn't save your IP address for particularly long, nor does it just give out your IP address unless the police come with a warrant.

Secondly, an IP address on it's own is useless. No one put an ISP can connect an IP to a physical address, and they again only do this when the police come with a warrant.

Third, Jow Forums uses SSL, so all communication between you and the site is encrypted. Your ISP only knows you visit Jow Forums, they don't know what you post or even what boards you visit.

There is essentially no way for any normal person to link your posts to you. This is something only law enforcement can do and even then it's difficult for them to do this (need a reason to get multiple warrants, you might not even be in the country and so on).

If you're that scared, just get a VPN and install something like uBlock Origin. VPN encrypts everything so even your ISP wont know you're visiting Jow Forums and uBlock Origin will protect you from any kind of tracking various websites use to build up a profile of your browser/computer.
