Don't repeat this lie. The US restricted citizenship to whites, and if Irish or Slavs weren't white, they wouldn't have been allowed in. They were, despite protestations of a few butthurt protestants, always considered white, at least in the official sense. In fact, the thing that's changed most has been the US government's definition, expanding it at the behest of kikes to include the Middle East and North Africa.
