Correct me if I am wrong, but wouldn't this be the best way for us to spread happenings and important shit? Everything you post on there is committed to the blockchain forever, and it's not nearly as slow as Bitcoin used to be because they use 0-conf transactions on Memo (which takes less than 2 seconds).
The only problem is, you need some BCH to start posting. If anyone here wants to make an account, post your BCH wallet and I can send you the 10cents or whatever to get started.

Well for one bcash is about 5% of the price of Bitcoin, so of course the TX fees are much less.
And number two, the lightning network can do everything much cheaper and faster than bcash.

I'll believe it when I see it, Bitcoin Cash works now and Lightning doesnt. I've been involved in crypto since 2011 and BTC is not the same thing it once was.

Bitcoin Cash is promoting 0 confirmation, because apparently, it is 99.9% secure against double spends. Merchants(in this case Memo.cash) can choose to either accept 0 conf(which is imo secure enough) or wait for 1 confirmation(about 10 mins).

There are 21 nodes however there are well over (200 last time I checked) backup block producers and I’m sure no whale is gonna vote for any block producer that censors free speech or transactions the future. Personally I like eos as a Dapp Network, I have a throwaway account ready to test the resistance on any social media site that comes down the line on eos and really push the boundaries of free speech to test the network, I’ve done a bit so far and haven’t had anything blocked yet. think it has a lot of potential in that regard but for peer to peer cash bch is king
