Realistically, and this will most likely be the case when they arrive at the US southern border, is that the caravan will be met with by a few hundred Federal agents equipped with riot gear (beanbag guns, tear gas, etc). If they were to break through the Feds, which they'd have to be incredibly violent to do so, they'll be met by army/marines armed with lethal small arms. I doubt it will come to real bullets, but expect lots of beanbag rounds to take down the violent ones.
