Jow Forums to users favourite movie

My favourite movie is the thing. Was McCreedy and Childs both human at the end?

What is your favourite movie?

Pure fucking kino

Attached: tuntematon.jpg (1487x999, 146K)

Childs was given petrol to drink at the end. Watch closely. Therefore childs is both alien and nigger

Revenge of the sith

m.huffingtonpost.ca/entry/kurt-russell-the-thing-theory_us_56883db0e4b014efe0daaaff

As much as it pains me to link HuffPo.

Kurt Russell himself said that scenario is bogus

I love that movie too. The movie that sticks with me forever though...is Le Grande Blue. Its just amazing but it's very long character study. Holy Motors is another one, I mean look:

They Live

>One big track scene
Holy

They also cut out him and childs wrestling in a sleeping bag to stay warm
I’m not one to tell tales bit Kurt Russell always goes red in the face when asked about this scene which ended up on the cutting room floor

80's Blade Runner is excellent

Full Metal Jacket

Attached: Sgt.-Hulka.jpg (432x312, 83K)

Yea. Childs wanted whiskey and McCreedy smiled.

Excalibur

Attached: excalibur sword in stone.jpg (375x300, 44K)

John Carpenter is a consummate faggot

The Thing is a classic. I think McCready and Childs were both human at the end but neither of them can believe the other. Not that it matters ofc
My favorite movie changes but rn I will say Kiki's Delivery Service

This movie is my favorite as well, tied with Big Trouble in Little China. I love Kurt Russell

But that pic isn't from FMJ. It's from that shitty Bill Murray movie with Egon in it.

Attached: MulhollandDrive.png (1920x1080, 3.38M)

Kurt Russell was originally considered for the main role

der ewige jude

12 monkeys

It's funny tho that that move about subversive programming was pushing anti family propaganda and niggerlove.

Jean Rasczak: All right, let's sum up. This year we explored the failure of democracy. How our social scientists brought our world to the brink of chaos. We talked about the veterans, how they took control and established the stability that has lasted for generations since. You know these facts, but have I taught you anything of value this year?

[to a student]

Jean Rasczak: You. Why are only citizens allowed to vote?

Student: It's a reward. Something the federation gives you for doing federal service.

Jean Rasczak: No. Something given has no value. When you vote, you are exercising political authority, you're using force. And force my friends is violence. The supreme authority from which all other authorities are derived.

I'm on the fence, but true believer is Jow Forums incarnate as the main character is a Jew.

The Equalizer - 2014

That movie made no fucking sense.
Regret wasting any time on that crap.
Donnie Darko was solid.

It confounds me that to this fucking day the arachnids looks fucking amazing. Even most modern CGI looks terrible compared to them. How the hell did they do it?

Childs wasn't human. His breath didn't fog. Most missed that.

Ending ruined it

He would have been good in it as well. Kurt Russell is based

this movie is absolutely based, it's one of the few world war 2 films where the anti-war message is strictly that, and it has nothing about niggers, nazis, holocaust, etc.

Attached: whentrumpetsfade.jpg (1059x1500, 213K)

great film

They used alot of practical effects and models in combination with light cgi scenes

also its one of my favorite movies

Watching a die-hard feminazi break her own programming is fucking hilarious.

Seven pounds - 2008

"The first time I ever saw a box jellyfish, I was twelve. Our father took us to the Monterey Bay Aquarium. I never forgot what he said... That it was the most deadly creature on earth. To me it was just the most beautiful thing I'd ever seen."

Nothing is more interesting than watching the chosen ones in love

Barry Lyndon
Clockwork orange

Beasts of no Nation
Stalingrad 1993

All Quiet on the Western Front

too bad the whole movie is garbage and these talking points are made by a skinhead so normies will jsut ignore it at nonsense

Platoon. Barnes did nothing wrong

This one actually made me cry. Denzel, while black, is an amazing actor.

Attached: johnq.jpg (1920x1080, 287K)

He's a Jew in the movie.

That's just a meme.

The prequel establishes that the Thing cannot synthesize metal and spits it all out. Childs' ears are pierced. He was not a Thing.

They were both human and froze to death, having killed the Thing.

Too bad they butchered the script for Stalingrad. The original author even demanded to have his name removed from the project. The original script was even more grim, but closer to what actually happened.

And I'll add this movie isn't for normies it's for Jow Forumsocks

i know i've seen the film

Last Samurai - 2003

> QT proper wife

> was heir to the kingdom & wasn’t blood related
> Jew blood wants him executed
> starts from the bottom only to finally climb to the top and die a respectable death

Man, you niggers need to bone up on your movies. Kurosawa has lots of good ones, Seven Samurai, Yojimbo, and Ran are solid, and you've seen them remade or performed before if you're not a complete zoomer neet.

Pure Kino. Tarkovsky was a god and 80s Russian cinema was divine with such classics as Come and See.

Saw that movie in theaters at the age of 16 with a couple of my friends, when we left all our eyes were red lol. On the way home one of my buddies said "Dude we should call our moms and tell them we love them" lmao. Really was a great movie.

good one

Prometheus was trash

FYI if you guys are fans of the thing they made a board game. 4-8 plays but works best with 6-8. It is really rather fun and captures the atmosphere and mounting sense of dread and distrust in the movies. Basically it is a team based game to clear the base to find supplies and ultimately escape on a helicopter. While everyone is trying to work together there is at the very least one Thing among the players randomly selected by hidden card draw. As the game progresses more and more things can be added or it can simply remain just the one. The thing can win by sabotaging missions by throwing in bad cards or instant lose cards. Burning down the base by withholding vital supplies or by sneaking aboard the heli at the very end.

It is as absolute fucking blast to play and every match will result in a violent shouting match and sometimes pretty close to fists. Best played with close friends because it makes it even more damn painful to be lied to or to fool a trusted buddy you've known for years.

If you see the good edit its quite entertaining

Good call on Angel heart

Robocop

they made a cop that perfectly enforces the law. within a week it's going against corruption in the government, and Dick Jones has to order the police to kill it to protect himself.

also Bob Morton created a good solution to Detroit's crime problem, but Dick Jones knows that, as the government, they don't have to serve the public and instead should suck up as much tax money as possible with a boondoggle project like ED209. even though Bob made a better program, in the context of the state it makes perfect sense for Dick Jones to kill Bob Morton and order the police to kill Robocop. the incentives of the state guarantee that the most greedy and bloodthirsty will rise to the top.

I always wondered about how the alien worked in this movie. Clearly it did more then simply disguise itself, as it had the memories and knew things only those it consumed would know, so it didn't just emulate appearance, but also organs including the brain. Did those infected know they were infected? Just influenced by their subconscious to do certain things, till their torso ripped in half to become a giant mouth? Could the brain a alien was emulating become self-aware? I want another Thing, but this time with more existential horror like say Soma.

By the way OP, if you like the Thing, check out this anime weeb shit, pic related.

Torn between so many movies but De Palma's 'Phantom' is one that constantly brings me back. I don't think that Carpenter intended for us to know about Childs for sure, it's better that way. It seems more than likely to me that Childs was caught by the thing but I don't think there's any certain evidence anywhere.

Also got to plug my man 'Brian Trenchard-Smith' ITT, Australia's most entertaining filmmaker. 'Frog Dreaming' made me cry.

This movie is fucking hilarious
>Eric Roberts
>first two protagonists recast as hilarious retards who play off of one another
>hideous Hollywood orange-filtering over everything
>FRIED CLITORISES

Kino movie, second half is best half and I'll fight anybody who disagrees.

John Boorman is a hero and what all filmmakers should aspire to emulate.

You're trash.
