You can make profit off of a currency or asset going down in value by a popular (((financial instrument))) called 'short selling'.
Together with 'long position' the most popular financial instrument in the world specifically because one can use a 'leverage' mechanism increasing the profit/losses 3x or even up to 200x is not unusual.
Because if you do it at the right time, the exchange rate will bounce right back. It tends to fluctuate quite a bit so if you're good at predicting when to sell and when to buy you're a made man. You know, buy low, sell high. How is this a hard concept?
