Ted Cruz vs Beto O'Rourke

Just got back from voting here in East Texas, Cruz isn't my favorite politician but it felt good to cast my vote for him in opposition of Beto O'Rourke.

Why the hell are the Democrats pumping so much money into Beto's campaign when it's obvious that Cruz is gonna win by almost 10 points? Are they just manufacturing a new, nationally-known, progressive politician NPC to use in future elections?

correct.
When he runs for a higher office they will use Texas' great economy as a reason he should be elected.

Gorgeous Ted is the most literal cuck in all of the good. Jow Forums will still defend this because "muh Trump"

GOP* not good

>Why the hell are the Democrats pumping so much money into Beto's campaign
Keep in mind the Dems have no idea what they're doing right now. This is their 2018 campaign strategy:

>Trump's strong economy is bad
>Trump's low unemployment is bad
>Trump's stance on enforcing laws is bad
>Abolish ICE
>Open borders
>Socialism rules
>Screw due process if it means we don't get our way
>Praise me, I might be 1/1024th Indian
>Gun control
>Take away your tax break (it's "crumbs" anyway)

So they push an unknown from El Paso (sorry EP, but you're pretty much New Mexico) who has a history of drunk driving (and running away), wanting an open border with Juarez (a place even Mexicans call super shitty) and wanting to ban firearms (he has said no one should own an AR and cosponsored the 2018 AWB).

That guy, in a state that's basically against all of what he stands for. On top of it all, he pushes himself as Hispanic, which he isn't, and Texans generally don't take kindly to disingenuous people anyway.

Don't forget, we like Cruz more than the rest of the nation does. We handed him the Texas primary quite heavily on Super Tuesday (44% to Trump's 27%), we have been a red state for a long time and will continue that way.

For some odd reason Dems think it's worth pouring millions into a race they are bound to lose. They want Texas BAD and they know if they can get Texas they can lock in the presidency for the future. Problem is, it isn't gonna happen.

I'm pretty sure it'll happen eventually. Lots and lots of native born Hispanic / Latino citizens are growing up and having [lots] of children of their own and voting [for Democrats] for the first time. Wait another 20 years for their children to grow up and start voting Democrat and Texas will be blue.

I'm blue dabba dee dabba da

Time for BETO to fly this ship and secede into space

Beto is a gamble. Dems are in a gambling mood. I hope Ted wins just so he keeps 69ing with Trump even tho they hate each other. I enjoy seeing them being gay for pay.

If Texas goes blue, where should I move?

It could, but anyone I know that's Hispanic that has ever actually done their own research tends to go to the right. The uninformed, meanwhile, tend to go to the left.

I'm optimistic that Texas will remain red, but we will see.

Texas.

Because even if it turns blue its still going to be Texas.

I dunno user, I'm in the same boat and I really need to stay in TX for my job (independent insurance adjuster, the TX license gets reciprocity in like 33 other states so it's piss easy to work disasters in other states with a TX all-lines adjuster's license).

I'm thinking about moving to Tennessee if Texas starts turning into California eventually. I'm hoping that's a long way off though.

They're grooming him for a vp spot in 2020
They thought he'd only lose by 4 points, and him on the bottom of the ticket in 2020 might give the dem an edge since hillary only lost texas by 10.
But this late, all the polling indicate "undecided" voters decided on Cruz, and they're fucked.

Na, I voted for Beto. Cruz isn't worth a shit, and hasn't done much for us Texans for a long time now.

It would be hugely demoralizing for the republicans to lose cruz and texas.

Beto is just practicing for his presidential run.

> Screw due process if it means we don't get our way
> GOP changes Senate vote requirements from 2/3 to 1/2 so they get their way

> GOP changes Senate vote requirements from 2/3 to 1/2 so they get their way
Troll, right? We all know Harry Reid did that when the Dems were in power five years ago. Cocaine Mitch even told him he'd pay for that back then.

In any case, that Senate rule has nothing to do with due process, fuckwit.

its gunna turn into mexico, just like california

youtube.com/watch?v=L_RFQxnizbQ

At this rate I'm convinced this is just a psyop to convince people that Cruz has this in the bag and reduce his turnout

You didn't see Jow Forums much of the election did you?

The Ted Cruz skelegates meme was one of my favorite memes of the 2016 election.

Oklahoma

Texas with CA taxes and gun laws would be a complete waste of time, why not just live somewhere with nice weather if you have to pay insane taxes and can't afford a house

He only changed it for federal court judges. The republicans just expanded the rule to include supreme court, which the democrats can only blame themselves for.
>nuclear option

Sup fellow etex user. I voted straight Republican. Dont even fucking care about who is running. I will never vote for another demoshit again in my life. May they all choke on bbc and get raped by illegals.

I'm actually concerned Beto is much closer to Cruz than the polls let on. Took a drive yesterday out to my rural hometown, was expecting to see Cruz yard signs overwhelmingly, but actually it was closer to 50/50. In the growing but still smallish city I live in now, it's more like 90/10 in favor of Beto, libs and shitskins have definitely overrun this once white and conservative city, it is lost :(

Basically this. Once texas is pozzed you might as well enjoy yhe weather in nevada or cali.

>moving to Oklahoma for any reason

Fuck that, I'd rather live in Arkansas than Oklahoma.

Cruz >60%.
Blue Wave incoming and Beto is riding point boys!!!

Most people don't put signs out... pretty weak metric tbqh

They know Lion Ted has presidential aspirations and if they can knock him out now it'll hurt him later if he tries to run again.

Imagine a world where Beta O'Dork can turn Texas blue. He's got presidential aspirations, too.

I see Beto signs on one guys lawn. I'm pretty sure they are just giving out free signs.

>Why the hell are the Democrats pumping so much money into Beto's campaign when it's obvious that Cruz is gonna win by almost 10 points?
They are desperate to show they can win a statewide race in Texas. They did the same shit with the pro-abortion gold digger when she was running for Governor against the cripple. The cripple beat her by over 20 points and Democrats promptly pretended she never existed.

*4 signs on one lawn*

>Why the hell are the Democrats pumping so much money into Beto's campaign
Same thing I said in the Krassenstein thread earlier. Cat ladies are a great source of money.

You don't even need to run an elaborate ponzi scheme, you just need to say mean things about the orange man and they'll shower you with money that you can then spend to market yourself as a political mover and shaker.

"You guys have a great governor"
"Where is he? I know he's here, gov abbot where are you?"
"I can't find him"
"But look at you spectacular Attorney General, isn't he great folks, he's right there, tall guy"

Kek!

Sucks up money from gullible donors to fuel the beast of the DNC, gives training experience to their younger organizers and activist (aka why they always win long-term), and tries to push the frame of dialogue in Texas slightly leftwards even if he loses.

Alex “yells at poo” Jones.

>GOP changes Senate vote requirements from 2/3 to 1/2 so they get their way
Correction. Democrats changed ending a filibuster from "when he's done speaking" to 2/3 in the 1910s, from 2/3 to 3/5 in the 1975, in some cases from 3/5 to 1/2 in 2013, and finally the rest was changed from 3/5 to 1/2 by Republicans in 2017.

Furthermore, none of this has anything to do with due process.

Come up with better bait.

I voted Republican on everything except for Comptroller of Public Accounts and Commissioner of the General Land Office where I voted for the Libertarian candidates.

Ben Sanders who is the Libertarian candidate running for comptroller seems pretty legit. He has degrees in biochemistry, computer science, and a PhD in Business Administration. He's worked at NASA and DARPA and is a business owner / contractor now. He has a history of developing spending management systems and protocols that reduced spending while he was working for NASA.

>how do you do fellow teens

Attached: ed8.jpg (480x295, 57K)

I always vote libertarian for the local stuff.

Primary campaign donor for Beto is J Street, co-founded by Soros. If Beto is a Soros guy and if it turns out that Soros has had a hand in this caravan...

Damn. Seems like a cool dude. Way too mAny races to keep track of.

...it's business as usual?

more like BETA O’rurke, amIright? did someone already say say it? first? goshdarnit

Is it true that if you call a Texan a liar and his wife a dog he'll kiss your ass?

If they are actually a canadian.

Small town / county here so no libertarians run for the local stuff, out of 7 local positions up for election 5 of them were running unopposed and 1 of the 2 that were "contested" had an "official write-in candidate" where you had to bubble in a box next to a blank and write his name in.

Yeah, I just looked at the sample ballot online and looked up all the libertarian candidates that were running for positions besides senator, representative, governor, and lieutenant governor (because, in my opinion, it's absolutely crucial that Republicans keep hold of those positions). All the other Libertarians running for other offices sucked except for the ones running for comptroller and land commissioner.

lol and so we vote for beto? so he can impeach Trump? ok great plan.

The hilarious thing is that there is an outstanding amount of small business owners who are Hispanic. At this rate, I say fuck it, let it turn to California and have everyone wonder what the fuck happened to their businesses.

Wyoming

Second generation Hispanics tend to vote Republican.

Republicans are going to have to make some sort of appeal to spics or they’re fucked. Not just in Texas, but a lot of the south too. I’m in Georgia and it’s not a matter of “if” GA will turn blue, but rather when. The demographics make it inevitable.
Even if a wall was built today, we’re already past the breaking point. Spics have like twice as many kids as your average white couple. They’ll just fuck themselves out of the minority.

He's a poser if he didn't do a kickflip on stage.

Cruz will win by double digits easily. I'm going to head out to the polls this weekend.

In my admittedly anecdotal experience I haven't found that to be true. I guess time will tell though.

>us Texans
doubt.jpg

We really need state flags.

I fucking hate that I have to vote for Ted Cruz, but Beto is anti gun and all for open boarders.

Texas has been majority mexican for a while

Primary is the time to boot cruz

Do you think any decent candidate will run against Cruz in the 2024 primary?

Seems unlikely. His policies are mostly solid. Wish he was pro dudeweed and less bible thumping, but is a decent tea party candidate and a debate powerhouse.

>I don't support Ted Cruz

what the fuck happened to this board? Basedboy newfags fuck off

Don't get me wrong, I appreciate his intelligent and well researched questions when he's working on congressional committees / hearings (like how the questions he asked Zuckerberg made it seem like he'd actually done some in-depth research into the company and put a considerable amount of thought into what questions he'd ask with his limited allotment of time while some of the other dumb fucks up there were asking things like, "hurr, you don't charge your users a fee to use Facebook, how does your company even make money?") but I don't like how he seems to be a contrarian just for the sake of being a contrarian sometimes.

lol where do you think you are

Arkansas is the prettier of the down syndrome states.

Well, I'm in Texas, and I actually voted for Cruz today and you're just some Canuck that's trying to live vicariously through US Politics and getting butthurt because I said Teddy boy wasn't my favorite politician. Fuck off leaf.

Yeah, I've been to Arkansas on a lot of canoeing, hiking, camping, and motorcycle trips. It's really pretty with a lot of outdoor activities to offer.

Beto is WEAK.
I'm voting for Cruz just to keep Beto out.

Yep. The only thing oklahoma has over arkansas is CBD

Cruz is weak boi

Nice bait

Meh, I don't really care about that.

He called my 'Lying Ted'...and I sucked his dick to be a Senator.

He posted pictures of my wife online and called her ugly...and I sucked his dick to be a Senator.

He posted pictures of my father online and claimed that he killed Kennedy...and I sucked his dick to be a Senator.

Yep...that's me...RAFAEL 'ted' CRUZ.

Canadian Born...Cuban Raised....Texas Tough...

>muh primary shitflinging!!!

nobody cares you faggots

Texas belongs to the BCC (BIG CRUZ COCK) and there's nothing you can do about it

Attached: 2016prim.png (1260x1156, 143K)

Their plan is to make him known nationally so they can use him as "the second coming of Obama" in the 2020 elections since they have no one else.

no way cruz leads in austin, place is basically california 2.0

But why? Surely if they're gonna manufacture a politician they could find someone who didn't get arrested for drunk driving. If you're starting from scratch then you might as well find someone with zero baggage from their past.

I’m standing in line... waiting to early vote for Lion Ted

t. Tarrant county voter in a looooooong line.

Attached: 1D9C9C2C-548D-49D2-99E1-89A1770780E7.jpg (300x181, 31K)

I grew up in smalltown East Texas and moved to Tarrant County when I was 20 years old, lived there for 8 years and recently moved back to my home town. I couldn't believe how long the lines were for shit like voting or the DMV in the city.

There was one person in front of me when I went to early voting today at lunchtime, I was in and out in under 10 minutes. Similarly, the DMV here in town has never had more than 2-3 people in line when I've gone there but the one time I had to go to the DMV in Arlington there were HUNDREDS of people waiting in line, I was shocked. It took me over 3 hours before my number came up and I got called up to the window that day.

Voted for lyin ted. OP is a faggot

Because Beto, like Obama, embodies what liberals dream of in a male candidate, soft spoken, "youthful", bendy to any whim and apologetic for themselves, their gender and their country.

They also smell that Texas is closer than it should be so there you have it.

I believe their goal is to trigger Liberals. Push them off the deep end. Start a Civil War.

Texas will turn blue the same way Colorado did, white Californians leaving the state and importing their politics where they settle.

This is also happening on Nevada which is at a tipping point as well as Idaho and Arizona.

Shitlibs LOVE LOVE LOVE Beto like they did Obama.

They're eyeing him for 2020 or 2024.

You are a Tool, mindless and obsolete.

fucking lmao. and they say de-platforming doesn't work

Attached: jones.png (853x723, 874K)

Beto is basically a Texas version of Justin Trudeau.

Greetings from dfw suburbia. Just voted Cruz. Judging books by their covers, it seemed like about half and half support as far as turnout at my local polling place. Definitely more Democrat looking folks than during the primaries. I’m in a pure red area but those wattaburger-ketchup-looking Beto signs are everywhere around here. Just praying all the yards an my street that DONT have signs are quietly supporting Cruz.

They're confident in their voter fraud plans

Don't get cocky OP
We must remain vigilant

I was thinking of moving to Hawaii. If I'm going to live in a Liberal Control "State" it may as well have a view.

>corporaye censorship is a good thing
Your true colors. The absolute piece of shit.

I want to believe you, but my inlaws are definately Dems (maybe the father is a moderate). Sister in law is hopelessly left wing and poisoned my brothers mind.

It unironically is. Free speech is a meme and people (republicans) are fucking retarded

Why haven't you redpilled them faggot?

It's not the nuclear option, its the Harry Reid option. Democrats changed the congressional process, and they're going to own it.

44% of Hispanics are also supporting Greg Abbott this year according to (((polls))), although time will tell.

Yes. Mega corporations censoring people is grear. Whats next ? Concentration camps for "uneducated" people.
You make me puke. You and your whole party are just a bunch of disgusting human garbage.
