He has talked about that before. Doing actual journalism is resource intensive and means that he won't be posting videos for a while, which means that he will get fucked by the youtube algorithm. And commentary videos tend to get more or roughly an equal amount of views anyways. It just doesn't make sense for most youtube creators to make actual journalism if you're just a one man show.
