Stop assuming that fat=unhealthy. There are plenty of naturally fat people like myself that dont have any health issues. This is why health is a social construct. Support naturally fat people by not concern-trolling them about their health.

Health as we know it has been decided by heterosexual white men. Fat people, gay people, and trans people get unfairly targeted by the healthcare industry and are forced to pay more for something that is hard to determine. I am currently 230 pounds and perfectly happy as a naturally fat woman. I havent gotten sick and my blood work is just as good as someone who is naturally thin or fit.

The healthcare industry also doesnt take women seriously when they have health issues, claiming were all just hormonal if something is wrong. This is blatant sexism that the industry produces.

I am both naturally fat and a woman. Whenever I have to go to the doctors office, they tell me to lose weight, forgetting that bodies like mine are meant to be fat. I get told to lose weight, even if the reason Im going is just to get a perscription for things like strepp throat.

This is why health is a social construct. Doctors are just wanting to make money off of the backs of marginalized groups, while giving us less care than able-bodied, male, naturally fit, naturally thin, cisgender, white, heterosexual bodies. If you arent all of those things, you are deemed less healthy.

When you're fat af, that weight isn't just aesthetics. You're joints and ligaments are all getting far more wear than they should. You can FEEL how much energy you're wasting just to get up. Its humiliating. Most fatties who reach that point despair and succumb.

But let me fat pill you. It's not so black and white. There's a third hormonal component that is largely stress related. It can mean the difference between losing weight in months or many years and significantly impact success and motivation, thus effecting psychological factors like depression.

So you're right and wrong. Yes moving more, eating less is about 80% of it. The remaining 20% is reducing stress... by meditation or other means.
