I can almost speak fluently. I've been studying it here but short of doing a third degree it's tough going. When I visited last year I actually did okay; a couple months in the deep end and I'd be fine; it's just stuff like bills and administration I'm not prepared for.
I don't want to teach English. I'm good at writing and speaking but it's a mire and I'm educated in an entirely different field that I've heard Japan actually could use.
