For those who don't know: lithium carbonate is a "mood stabilizer" used as a cure-all for anything that's deemed mental illness. It's literally prescribed for everything from depression to bipolar to schizophrenia. It operates within a theraputic range; anything above that is toxic, anything below that is pointless (other than horrible side effects). What they're suggesting would poison far more people than it would help, and it would make people who have to work in outdoor conditions absolutely unable to perform their jobs, because lithium fucks with your blood and makes you unable to hold onto water and nutrients

I'm near a quarry. My property is around a bunch of springs the Indians used to use. Apparently the different tribes considered it neutral holy ground and never fought each other here. I dont really drink the water unfiltered. It's also high in fluoride, and children that grow up here develop a distinctive white line on their teeth. It's kind of weird.

You may want to check into just what it is they do at that quarry. Scumbag contractors often dump the hazardous materials that are a by product of what they're doing on the ground instead of properly disposing of it and that could easily find it's way into your well water's source.
